I really like it

I had a really hard time figuring out what this bag was like, so I thought I'd upload a lot of pictures and info to help other people understand it. I decided on this bag because of a) the colors and b) the size. I'm going to Iceland and they have a smaller carry-on size than usual and this will be perfect (I'm also checking a bag). The colors are great, especially that of the buckle. The main compartment is wide enough for what I need. It is about 6 inches wide max. There are side and bottom straps that cinch or let out to give more or less space in the main compartment. There's a laptop space there and the other side holds pens and other stuff. The outer front pocket has a couple more organization pockets inside and a key ring. There's a nicely padded shoulder strap. I plan to carry this so that is at my hip like a crossbody so I think I'll have to adjust it a little bit. It looks kind of complicated to adjust but I'm sure I'll get it. The buckle is really nice-looking. I almost bought this bag just for that color buckle. Maybe I'll get the matching keychain! Very happy with this purchase. I was really unsure, but having it in hand really assured me that it's a great bag.

Perfect but but one catch

Beautiful bag that boasts a ton of carrying space that i was looking for, especially for my 13 inch iPad Pro on top of all my other junk. The look and sleek design is rugged and snug and it’s a joy when you discover the straps and how to adjust them smoothly and on the go as well the crispness of the buckle snapping can’t be beat. The fit of the bag is perfect for keeping everything in place even when bending down to pick things up. My only gripe is the material of the front XRF panel on my model which i chose because i wanted tk break up the black but i should’ve known to always bet on black. Lol. It scratches EASILY. Like breathe on it and you’ll see something. lol. It really should’ve been stronger but I’ll say it adds character to the bag. Lol. Regardless of that it’s a perfect bag

My EDC!

I bought this bad on sale and love it. The internal organization is great and it replaced my courier bag. I hot-rodded it a little so I could use the bottom straps for compression. It holds the right amount for daily use and short trips.

The Goldilocks of Slings

The Kadet Max hits the absolute sweet spot for size. At 15 liters, it’s large enough to swallow a 15-inch laptop and a light jacket, pair of clean socks, and all my daily necessities - yet it maintains a slim, low-profile silhouette that doesn't make you feel like you're hauling a suitcase on your back. It’s the perfect bridge between a compact sling and a heavy-duty commuter bag.

Amazing bag

I can’t even count how many chrome items I own. I have a vale sling and it was my favorite sling. I missed out on the rerelease of them awhile back so when the Kadet max came out I was super stoked. I LOVE THIS BAG! It’s big enough for an overnight for light travelers or perfect for quick trips to the store. It’s really comfortable and can be worn on either shoulder. It’s waterproof enough for long rides and the padded sleeve fits my laptop perfectly and I will say it provides good protection I already ate shit on the bike from a stupid driver and the bag held up great. Once again chrome has produced yet another great bag I highly recommend it.

The Bomb

So, I have tried several Chrome bags over the years. All are excellent for their intended purpose. My first was an all-black and grey Chicago flag messenger bag that was perfect when I rode my bike to work daily. Each bag passed on to one of my kids. My most recent bag was the Kadet. My youngest has been eyeing it, so I gave it to her. The Kadet Max came at the perfect time! It fits my laptop, my chords headphones, and everything else I need. Super functional with two large zipper pocket areas, with superb interior organization. It was a briefcase-style handle and a place to hook your keys. The bag is the perfect all-around bag!

Almost perfect!

Love this bag! It is a fantastic size for when I don’t need to bring a ton of extra stuff with me. It fits all of my EDC items with room to spare. The front pocket is nice and roomy and has its own volume so it doesn’t take up space in the bag. The only thing I would change about the bag is the organization. The admin organization is on the inside of the bag and I find it difficult to access it when the bag is packed out. It’s also a bummer the pen pockets are on the inner organization because the caps pop off when the bag is loaded up. It would be easier access and feel more secure if the admin org was in the front pocket.

Glad to have it, sad I waited

I’ve used a custom-made, glittery-PVC-covered Citizen for bike commuting, rock climbing, work, and travel for 13 years now. I bought a Kadet last year and, while it is actually possible to cram an unprotected 15” laptop in it, it didn’t have the volume I needed and, frankly, lacked the glitter I need in my life. The Rio Rose Pink Kadet Max has been perfect in every way. Bonus points for incredibly effective laptop padding - not a lick of damage to my laptop when someone I thought I loved decided to test the buckle function while I was standing on a concrete floor without the stabilizer strap on. No external sleeve for a U-lock, but plenty of room to tuck one inside.

Perfection

I love this bag. I got the max cadet in pink 💗 and it holds everything I need for my bike commute to the office. And I don't mind it as a purse-ish type bag for during the day when I have a lunch meeting. Everyone loves the seat belt buckle, especially me. ***as far as bringing food to work/change of clothes for office, I use my panniers. Also, important to note that the original order was stolen from my porch. Chrome was so supportive in me getting a replacement quickly.I'm a customer for life.
