Healthy & Delicious!!!

By far the best on the market. Love the rice noodles, coconut milk and turmeric. Just the perfect balance of flavours and texture. I always make sure to have at least a few meals with me in the car/work bag for a quick, healthy and delicious meal on the go!

Tasty on the trail

Tasty although I think I was a little impatient with waiting for the rehydration. I'll definitely add this one to my backpacking rotation.

Love the chickpeas and the rice noodle! Bravo

Another great meal from Nomad. Really enjoyed the rice noodles with the vegetables. The meal warmed up nicely and has great flavor, but not spicey like I thought it would be. I actually put mine inside a tortilla wrap. Bravo Nomad.

Very good low sodium alternative

Love the rice noodle on this one. quick and easy to prepare with minimal fuss. all the ingredients rehydrated quickly. Very low on sodium, but I think that was the point.

Mediocre

This was my second attempt at Nomad Nutrition - first was the Spanish Paella. As with the paella, the label recommended water was too much. Luckily, I reduced it to 1 cup and got a reasonable meal, instead of a soup. Flavor was ok, although there was very little evidence of curry flavor other than heat/spiciness. I added some salt and that helped accentuate the little flavor that was there. Overall, wouldn't recommend as there are much better tasting and quality curry options in the backpacking food market for similar price.

Expensive / wouldn’t properly cook / not hearty

I was very disappointed in these meals. They didn’t hit the spot, they wouldn’t properly cook no matter how long I let boiling water soak inside. I even tried to boil a package of the Irish Shepard pie after letting it sit for 30 minutes…. Just really disappointed in these plant based offerings. I ended up being a little hungry after eating double serving pouches by myself. Crunchy watery soup with a decent taste.

Avoid

Awful. The beans hadn't rehydrated after 20 minutes, the flavor got old after 1 bite, and it stained my spoon yellow permanently.
