How many calories, again?
This would have generated a higher rating except for two factors. First is the form factor of the package - it's too wide to fit in a BV 500 without folding or mashing it. Got several of these for a multiday trip? Good luck getting a lot else to fit in your canister. The second concern is the confusing labeling. The front says this meal has 600 calories. The back says it has 580 calories. Sure, it's not a huge difference. But why can't the company get their stories straight? Regarding the food itself, it's not bad. It rehydrates well enough, though with bland results. The addition of several squeezes of Mae Ploy really improves this, and I heartily recommend that.

Tastes great and rehydrates fine

I read all the other reviews here, and I don't know, mine rehydrated fine within the 15 minutes. The vegetables were amazing! You can't get vegetables to taste like this anywhere else. I think some other reviewers are not used to biting in vegetables like in a restaurant. I've eaten so many mushy and powdered MRE meals, that this is a refreshing change! I like biting and chewing my food. Easy to prepare, tastes great. Must have teeth to eat.

It’s an awesome dish for camping, outdoor lovers or even stay-at-home lazy/chill easy cook days. Great for vegans like me. Have a nice rosemary aftertaste. Totally 5 stars for me. Recommend.

Tasty and satisfying meal

The texture is spot on, and while the seasoning is mild, it’s still a delicious and comforting meal!

Nutritious and filling - great even for non-vegans

Quite possibly the best tasting and delicious meal I ever had! Rehydrates great in 15 minutes, really depends how much hot water you put into it. I love the flavor - bravo!

Not bad

Took Nomad Nutrition’s Irish Shepherd’s Pie on a weekend trek — great choice. Tastes homemade, with real, clean ingredients. Filling and easy to prepare, just hot water and a few minutes.
