Like a restaurant meal!
Honest review here - I am so impressed with this meal, I could eat this everyday at home for breakfast or lunch. Kale and quinoa? I mean that is just superb! five stars and two thumbs up!

So Bland
I bought 8 different breakfasts and 8 different dinners for my recent trip and this one was, by a large margin, the worst. It never fully rehydrated and was sooo bland. Imagine just eating plain quinoa. If you're looking for the "real food" style of backpacking food, I'd just stick with Good To-Go, as they reconstitute well and have flavor.

Totally worth it.

Fuel up like a champ with the Cali Breakfast Bowl! Tofu, quinoa, chickpeas — protein city! The mix of yams, kale, and olives? Chef’s kiss. Bright flavors, super satisfying. Fourteen bucks stings a little, but for a clean, hearty start on the trail? Totally worth it. Would devour again, no hesitation.

Honestly? Delicious!

Tried this for breakfast, and I’m actually impressed. It’s packed with protein (tofu, chickpeas, quinoa—yes, please!) and has a great mix of yams, kale, and potatoes that makes it super satisfying. The olives and basil add a nice touch of flavor, so it’s not just another bland “healthy” meal. Feels light but keeps you full, which I love. Definitely a great option for a quick, nutritious start to the day!

NOT JUST FOR BREAKFAST!

I loved this product. I had it for dinner. Loved the whole chickpeas, vegetables and spices. I am gluten free and vegan, and when I travel internationally it can be challenging to find food that works for me in airports or airport hotels. These are easy to carry in my carry-on luggage and make in a hotel room. I will definitely try more of your products!

Filling!

It was my first time trying this brand, and I was not disappointed. This breakfast is super filling, which caught me off guard after my days of eating various porridges. Glad I tried it; I'll likely get it again and use it for breakfast on "big" backpacking days.

Very cool breakfast idea

As the name suggests, this is a breakfast type dish. Very cool with quinoa, yams and kale. So different from all the other breakfasts out there! It was a pleasant surprise for sure. Very impressive.

Love it!
