Over the past year we've
Over the past year we've made several purchases of fleece coats or vest, and down coats. I would say we've and so please, for all with the exception of this one. I also have Women’s Abrazo Fleece Hooded Full-Zip Jacket which also has the waterproofing material on the head and shoulder. That jacket I love so I expected this to be similar but heavier. In fact, it’s nothing like it. It’s kind of like a sleeping bag material with a little bit of fleece. I found it cold, just slipping it on straight out of the bag the material was cold. I knew this would not be a good match and that I had already purchased better items. I return the jacket.
Finishing and thread details 🧵
The jackets (3) that I got feel great. I just tested them with the windy Chicago cold winds. One of them had a loose thread on the sleeves wedges with the wrist. I used scissors to cut it. Now, while I was removing one of them the zipper got jammed with a loose thread from the inside zipper of the jacket. (Image included). I think the over all quality is good but the finishing and details may compromise a full usage.
Very Nice Jacket - solid quality, just 1 or 2 things for me...
Love the jacket, the color combo and material choices. As a 5'5 athletic male, I had to settle on a medium which gave my upper body some room to move but led to a larger fit in the mid/lower section of the jacket and sleeves that were a bit long. The other thing that would be great is if the nylon material that is in the body of the jacket went down the sleeves too. It would make it easier to put on/take off. I really do LIKE the jacket. I hate to come off as a complainer but thought these would be constructive. This is my 1st Cotopaxi product and I will def keep an eye out for other. Thanks.
Love this jacket
I bought this for my son last year and always wanted one for myself. I’m 6’1 and 198lbs. Large fit perfect . Very cozy and not too hot,
Perfect for Outdoors
Provided adequate insulation and stylish enough to stand-out from the sea of already dull winter crowd.
Cannot take it off
After I bought this thing I wore it so much that my girlfriend got sick of it. Very comfortable and warm. If I had to have a gripe with it when the hood is up peripheral visibility is limited
Awesome warm hooded coat
I recently bought this coat for my son, who does not like wearing coats, and he seems to love this coat. It’s comfortable, soft, and warm but not overly hot. The hood is a great feature and the coat is made very well and everything works wonderfully. We are very happy with this purchase, I would definitely recommend this coat to a friend. My son reports his favorite part of the coat is the pockets, which can fit a lot of stuff and he likes the one on the chest as well. Highly recommend, high-quality product we love Cotopaxi!! Thank you!
Excellent Warm and Cozy Jacket
As a large busted female, I tend to buy male tops bc female tops don't fit me well, especially when there are zippers involved. This jacket provides a great fit. I love the mixed materials. With the teddy bear fuzz, it is a wonderful balance of warm and cozy. My only complaint is that the hood is very large, leaving quite a bit of opening around my head, and it can't be tightened. I have to wear a hat with it, or it fits weird. Definitely a good buy!
Perfect fit if you are plus sized
I am 5’8” and well over 250 lbs, so finding a jacket that fits is a struggle. Trico is perfect: I bought size XXL and not only can I zip it up comfortably (and still bend and stretch), but the arms are perfect length as well and the hood does not cover all of face like it is with some other brands. I only tested it in 5C weather so far where it kept me warm without making me sweat. If you are plus sized, I highly recommend this jacket.
Best light weight but warm jacket
I love the Trico Hybrid Jacket - got one for me in the black/blue and another one for my son in the orange/blue. I didn’t know that I was going to love this jacket as much as I do. I’ve only had it for a few weeks and I wear it every time I can. It’s light enough to wear all the time but surprisingly warm enough and flexible enough to keep you warm and comfortable . I’m now a new found customer of Cotopaxi and want so many more things.
