Solid quality again from Patagonia.
Fit is good. Fabric is comfortable and seems durable. Pockets are well placed and decent sized. Seems like they will resist wear and the seams seem durable. I'm always a bit nervous to spend for tights, but these seem like they will last well and be worth the investment. Not too warm. Seems a good medium weight or an underlayer in cooler weather.
Mesh knees??
Nice tights with fatal flaw (for me). There is mesh behind the knee. The main reason I wear tights is to keep my knees warm...muscles warm up, but joints, not so much. Hard for me to imagine why you would put mesh around the most important (and highest wear) portion of the tights.
Good investment!
My second pair of Patagonia tights/ leggings As always, they are a great item to have in my wardrobe. They fit like they were custom made for me and help with my arthritic knees- excellent stabilizers when I'm active.
