It seemed sturdy and well made but the Velcro at the top of the jacket scratched my 5 year old’s chin when he would wear it at school. Will return just for this reason
Great Warm Jacket for New York Winters
I purchased this jacket for my 7 year old grandson at the end of the season. It is stylish, warm and comfortable for the many activities he participates in both after school and on weekends when he is skating, hiking or playing outside with friends. The winters can get very cold and he lives right off the water which brings an extra challenge. It provides the warmth he needs so he can just have fun. I recommend this jacket.

So glad i found out that Marmot does kids! Super high quality, super warm. Durable fabric and warm down insulation. Fits true to size in my experience. Sizing tool online told me to go with a small but he was actually xs (5) in reality.
Fordham II jacket
My grandson loves it . He says it’s warm and cozy . Loves the pockets. This is his second one in one year ..as he lost the first one at school. Wanted it again but this time we put in Apple tag in the inside pocket to track it .
Very Tough Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The exterior fabric on this jacket is very tough and ideal for kids that are rough on gear...like our middle son. We'll still be able to pass it down to another kid. Not quite as insulated as others, but easy to layer under.
