YETI cooler backpack
It was above and beyond what my boyfriend was expecting! 2 frozen ice packs and one small bag of ice and 12 hours later, everything was so cold! PERFECT!!
M20 Backpack nasty smell inside (ammonia)
I’ve haven’t use it yet, but I had to return it because there was a pungent smell (ammonia) inside the cooler.
Maiden trip across country to CA beach
Great backpack and cooler combo. Recently purchased for CA beach vacation and was used with great success. Worked great as a airplane carryon pack also. The only negative was the shoulder straps, with a bulky jacket (midwest in the fall) it will be maxed out on length when wearing additional layers.
Mind blowing!
It's incredible!!! Mind blowing, perfect size, comfortable to carry even with 10 pounds of ice and beer.
Excellent Cooler!
This is the Yeti that I've been waiting for! This cooler is extremely portable and having the backpack straps on it makes it a game changer. I've taken this cooler on several trips as a carry on bag on flights only to use it as a cooler later on. The fact that the mouth of the cooler stays open now is the best thing, it makes it so much easier to load and unload! It's built with the same quality that you would expect from Yeti. I would highly recommend this cooler if you are in the market.
Easy Open /Close, Holds Ice and Keeps Items COLD
I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it a couple times now. The magnetic opening/closure is awesome- way easier than a zipper. Used it on a hot day going to the beach with ice as well as an ice pack (competitor's brand ice pack) and after almost 10 hours, there was still plenty of ice left. Backpack weight distribution is good, would be even better with optional/removeable waist straps. The included sternum strap helps.
Flip 24 wanters, and m20 haters read this.
I was very angry that Weber took away the zipper and cancelled the flip 24. I wanted that clear square look. I also have a flip 12 with the zipper. This new design is amazing and destroys the zipper design. it stays open, it closes easily, ice stayed ice for 2 days for me. yeah i came home left my pack, went back to clean it out 2 days later and there was still ice inside. This product is a home run, and if you were like me hoping the flip 24 comes back... don't wait.. this pack is the real deal. nice job yeti.
M20 Backpack Cooler
Love the cooler. Took it to the beach last week and it was perfect. The magnetic opening is great and it also stays open while filling with ice. It’s nice to have the cooler on the back with free arms to carry other things. Didn’t want to spend money on cheap coolers so I went with the quality of yeti that will last.
Good but not what I was hoping for
I was sooo excited for this, but after using it for a multi-day trip to the beach. I think it is really a limited use thing for me personally. The quality was top notch, so I can't ding it there. The size and internal shape was more cumbersome than I was expecting. You have to dig down, it wasn't great for getting at food more towards the bottom. I had to put the food towards the bottom because of the tapper with the bag, the biggest area for food tupperware is at the bottom and drinks stacked at the top to fit and be able to close it... it didn't fit as much as my "more square" soft sided bags. I think this will be limited to a drink cooler for day trips and food will have to go into another cooler.
Close but Needs improvement
It’s a decent cooler but I feel it is still missing some key features. First off, the size is still quite small for anything but a quick day trip and you run out of room real quick. Second, to not even have a single pocket on the front for keys, wallet, and cell phone is mind blowing. Taking this thing to the beach or hiking to distant places is annoying because you have nowhere else to keep even a few items. To think I now have to pay more money to buy a silly pouch for the front is maddening. Besides that, it is well made and I like the color but I wouldn’t purchase this again.
