Rolled the dice on these as I could not find reviews not on the company's website and on day 2, still happy. Initially felt loose on the foot, but that's a uniqueness to this shoe. You need to cinch laces down seemingly with more force than a typical shoe. It doesn't make the shoe feel tight, just more locked in, and the laces slide easily. Very light, very comfortable, and I love the soles. Many of the trail/approach/hiking shoes with a beefy tread tend to get caught on the smallest of hurdles, roots/sidewalk cracks/lazy stride, whatever. These soles seem to hit the Goldilocks zone. I did notice I could feel pressure in a spot on the top of my right foot from the tongue during first test run, but I think that is a simple adjustment and the shoe will fit to my foot in another walk or two without adjusting. Again, so far, I approve. My last two pairs of approach shoes were the same, the Arc'teryx Konseal. Great shoes, but as you see in those reviews, design flaw causes separation between rubber on toes and material on top. Same every time and they don't appear to be to worried about fixing it, despite complaints.
Fit was great, just like my other Asolo boots, mountaineering and hiking. These looked great too. But on my second wearing, I used the heel loop to pull the shoe on, and it pulled out of the heel of the shoe.
