Pretty cute shoes
This is a cute, sturdy shoe. I wear a 37 in the Mayari and a 38 in a shoe. I have been wearing this shoe in a 38 for the last year. It was a little big so I've been wearing it with a thick sock. I ordered a 38 Regular and was shipped a narrow. There isn't anything on REI website about this being a narrow. I called REI customer service, and, after some digging, she said what they have in the store in the 'medium narrow' and if you want the 'regular wide' you have to order that from Birkenstock. So that's what I did. Now that I have a 38 regular, these are pretty good. I ordered the suede canvas hoping they would be cooler than the all leather version. My toe is right to the end with a thin sock, but I know they will stretch out. If you like Birkenstock, this will soon be your favorite shoe. I always spray the suede with some shoe spray. I think it keeps them cleaner longer. I think REI should carry the 'regular' size in the store and not just the narrow. They should at least specify narrow on the website.
cute but toe box too small
really cute with comfortable supportive sole, but the "narrow/regular" toe box is now just too snug where the previous standard width of Birkenstock was perfect.
Comfort of Birks with roomy toebox
Good shoe for Birkenstock toe coverage! I have foot problems including Morton’s Neuroma & both pinkie toes are hammertoes with calluses. So toebox has to be roomy & I need the patented cork insole with metatarsal pad. Very happy with purchase; I order online & don’t pay shipping with store pickup which is within 5 miles of my home.
Comfortable & Cute
I’m happy with these, they were comfortable right out of the box. I walk to work and wear them there all day and then walk home, great shoes for standing all day and walking a lot. I even wore them on a spontaneous 2.5 mile hike with no issues. Only regret was choosing the lighter color, already getting dirty but I’ve used a suede protector and the stains have been easy to brush off.
Great for working on my feet.
I have two pairs of the Bend sneakers and have worn them a lot in spite of being just a bit too short. I wear a size 11 and these are probably actually a 10.5. They are super comfortable and offer the support my arches need, but the shortness is a sore point. I have worn them mainly for working (I am an artist who works at home), I don't tend to wear them when going out too much.
Love ‘em
Good looking sneakers, Birkenstock footbed, what’s not to like?
