I have been riding cutout road saddles for 30 years with no problems. I tried this saddle for a week and ended up with bleeding from my butt multiple times (correlation does not mean causality however). No pain, but it felt odd - different from my other saddles. Another minus was the material was tackier than I am used to, so this and the saddles short design did not facilitate changing position.
Painful, very painful.
Verse Short Comp saddle came as standard on my new Trek bike. Not a beginner bike either. I've been riding various makes/models of bikes for 40 years. Without a doubt this is the most painful saddle I've ever had the dis-pleasure of riding on. It felt more like sitting on a narrow fence post than a saddle to do any distance ride. It may fit you- but highly unlikely.
