Cooking while camping!

Don’t let the small size fool you, this little camp stove works great! It’s fairly lightweight and has a built in carrying handle, so transporting it is a breeze. It does feature a latch to keep the stove contained when not is use. Connecting a propane canister to the stove is fairly easy, and the regulator is easily adjustable so you can have the tank in the right position. The stove has built in igniters, and they work great. The wind guards are fairly small, and I didn’t think they would make a difference. I was quite surprised to find they did a great job of keeping the wind out, but also keeping debris from flying into the burners. The stove lid also works as a wind guard, if you are able to adjust the position of the stove into the wind. The stove includes a pan rack to elevate your pots off the burner surface. I had my cast iron pan on one burner, and a kettle of water on the other. We had breakfast in no time!! Clean up was very easy, most of the stove just wiped clean. There is notch to store the regulator in when the stove is not in use. All in all this is a great camping stove. Coleman has made some improvements to the stove from older models.

Great, but...

Brand new out of the box, took it on a 2 day camping trip. 2nd day the right burner closest to the propane adapter started producing slow yellow flames, climbing up the side of the pan. I was like what on earth is going on here? After doing some research, people are saying could be bugs, dripped oil, clogged, dust, etc. Took it home, air sprayed it everywhere. Still didn't produce the fast blue flames, YouTube didn't show any work around for newer models so I ended exchanging it for a newer one. REI great service and friendly workers! Will update again soon...

Perfect for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Cascade 222 2-burner camping stove by Coleman. First I love this green color of this stove. It is very clean and easy to keep clean. Easy to travel portable carry stove. My family and I love to camp so this is perfect for quick easy meals and even making coffee! This has 2 wind guards one on each side to also then keep the lid from falling. The rack removes for easy cleaning. This is really light weight that even my youngest can carry it. I love that it has a push button igniter and the dials are easy to turn up and down for temperature. Works perfect for my family!

Quality Stove for Outdoor Cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is very simple to put together. It only has 3 pieces. It's lightweight, has a durable finish, and is easy to set up and put away. It puts out 22,000 btus, which is close to what my built-in outdoor kitchen burner has. This stove will be a perfect addition to my griddle that I use when camping and don't want to cook inside my camper. The lid acts as a wind barrier, so it's perfect for keeping the flames going when it gets windy. I highly recommend this stove and can't wait to get the griddles that are an additional accessory.

The best one yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is really nice! I have used many different Coleman stoves over the last 30 years. This one is by far the best. It just feels solid. You can also see from the pictures that it has an almost powder-coat finish. The handle for vertical carrying/storage is also a nice touch. The cherry on the top, though, is the electric ignition. I am embarrassed to admit that I have forgotten a lighter on several campouts in the past. Having electric ignition makes that moot. Again, I cannot recommend this stove enough!

The Best Looking Propane Stove Around!

Took this 2-burner stove on a few outings and found it to be a great all-around camping/outdoors accessory. It’s so easy to pop it out from your trunk and set it up to start cooking. Having both burners makes the cooking more versatile and quicker being able to handle main course and side dish at once. East set up and easy to put away. I even was using it as a table to eat off of after the cooking was done because the shape of the unit allows for it with a nice flat top surface. Pros -Sleek design, folds up like a briefcase and easy to slide in and out of compartments in the vehicle. -Retro look and feel! I love the retro look. The mix of stainless and clean lines have an awesome classic Coleman look -Easy set up! It took about 2 minutes to set up out of the box. All you do is open it up, fold out the side pieces and connect the propane to it and you’re off -Sturdy and tough. I haven’t put it through anything intense yet but it sure seems like it can take a beating given the material -Good heat control. I was able to quickly learn how to manage the burners and get the heat how I needed it. The burners allow for a good variety of temperatures on both sides to work with whatever you’re making. Cons -The piece where the propane attaches is a sturdy pipe and sticks out and I wish it was a flexible tube instead to allow you to place the propane on a flat surface to support it. I haven’t had any particular issues with the tank floating but it just doesn’t seem like the safest and most reliable bet. -The lid to the unit does act like a grease barrier to protect what’s out in front of the cooking unit. This is a great feature except the lid does fall slightly inward which gave me some slight difficulty with larger pots and pans to get an even heat.

This Coleman Stove is easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Coleman stove is sleek, light weight and easy to carry. Very easy to put together. Just open the lid, connect the wind guards on the lid to the side of the stove, attach the gas connector to the right side of the stove, screw the gas cylinder on the gas connector, place the stove top grill over the burners and you’re ready to cook! Turn the burner knobs about half way and turn the red knob. This stove started on the 1 st click. Perfect!

Great Camping Stove! Love It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time having a camp stove, and I love having it! It was an easy set up for us. It doesn't take long for it to heat up, and the heat output is excellent. We cooked on this a few times before having to get more gas, so it's definitely fuel efficient. It's lightweight and heavy duty too.. I also really love that it's an easy cleanup compared to using our grill! The overall process is smooth and fast! It's a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely excellent! I have been wanting a camping stove for a while and I couldn’t be happier with the Coleman stove. I love how it has a latch to keep it from opening. Great size and lightweight. Perfect for camping or to keep in case of emergencies.

Trendy minimalist camping stove that does exactly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and minimalist lightweight camping stove that is fuel efficient and easy to use. The heat output is easy to manipulate with the knob assigned to each burner. The cooktop easily disassembles to wipe down when storing the stove away.

Really good camping stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great camping stove. I like that I can cook for all my family and friends when we go camping or any other outdoor activities . What i like the most is that it has two burners and I can prepare two meals at once which I need for my big family. It was very easy to install and set up and I like that the burners lights up right away after lighting them on and you can start cooking right away. It’s also very lightweight and easy to carry it and take it anywhere you need it. You can purchase the propane tank separately which was very inexpensive. The propane last up to an hour which was enough time for me to cook. I really like that I can add a grill plate which I can purchase separately for my next outdoor outing.

Great portable grill must have for camping and etc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a huge fan of Coleman products, this little grill lives up to the incredible product standards. This grill will be great for camping in the fall but right now has been a life saver since we lost power last night. Great little backup just in case an emergency happens. I love the new style of the same classing camp stove, very cute, the color pops well and the finish will make it less slick than prior models. Grill starts right up also, no problem with getting it going.
