The bees knees

This spoon is amazing for ladling chili, soup, or stews. It is a great addition to my car camping kitchen. Breaks down small, but just the right size for all my ladling needs.

Camp Cuisine May Never Be the Same

I broke down and bought this spoon after being so impressed with the spatula with the same design. Sea to Summit has broken the code when it comes to foldable cooking utensils. Once unfolded, this spoon feels just a sturdy as anything found in the kitchen. The silicone bowl makes it easy to stir and ladle out meals. And I really don't thing Sea to Summit has emphasized how flat this spoon packs down. With the bowl of the spoon collapsed, it is about 1/2" thick. That is leaps and bounds ahead of ANY other cooking spoon I've ever tried. In fact, a cooking spoon was removed from my kitchen kit because they were all too big and bulky to be considered worth carrying. Finally, I can cook in the backcountry and not worry about flimsy utensils hampering the meal.

Good idea, too flimsy in use.

Bought for a group cooking backpacking trip because I thought the weight and folding would be good qualities. On the prep hikes it was immediately clear this spoon was a no-go. It was too flimsy to get food from the bottom and corners of pan. I ended up leaving at home and taking a different spoon.

Can't read

So far i really like this spoon! Guess I need to figure out where to get the matching spatula! One thing I can say bad about it is, that I can not read teh measuring graduates, But do you really need to measure anything if you are just pouring boiling water into a bag??

Seems perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the folding spoon and spatula to replace our full-sized same. We are moving to a smaller van for camping and are downsizing all of our equipment. Very pleased with these. They seem strong and do the job with minimal size and weight.

Handy Packing Spoon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this easy to pack spoon and the matching spatula on a 2 week bikepacking journey and it folds small enough to fit in my bowls. Really handy.

It's not a spoon, it's a ladle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this thinking it would be a compact eating spoon, but it turned out to be too large. I chucked it in the trash after the first trip.
