[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this kit. It's all the little pieces you need in your kit, in a handy hanging, foldable case. This is designed more for camping/van life, rather than backpacking, but it sure is handy. The scrubber/wilderness wash combo is ingenious, and the scrubber works really well. The washing cloth is slightly abrasive, and makes cleanup a breeze, and really appreciate the dedicated towel for drying the dishes. The plastic bottles are the best part. Nice and big, (but not too big) and I use the large for oil, and the smaller ones for pancake syrup.
I bet this is a great kit. Haven't used it yet, but I can day when I received it, the wilderness wash bottle was empty. Upon closer inspection, it appears to have leaked out entirely, requiring me to fully wash everything (I guess I probably would have anyway), replace the soap, and accept a carrying case that is probably permanently stained. Not a deal-breaker I guess, but it's not like this is a cheap item. I expected better.
I like it. The scrub device falls short but it makes up for it with the folding spatula (absolute MONEY) and spoon. 9/10 worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being both a winter and high-altitude camper I cook with hot burning liquid stoves. In doing so, I have struggled to find cooking utensils that would hold up to the heat. I have found what I was looking for with this set. Extremely durable, and fairly compact for all that you get with the kit. The kit Itself is not intended for ultra-lite adventures, but when broken down as individual components, the tools are light enough to satisfy those of us who count each gram.
I did buy this for a 3-day camping trip originally. The wilderness wash is pretty good at removing grime. The spatula and spoon also fit my small jetboil ceramic pan. The towel can deal with a good bit of water. Although I give it 4 stars because I despise the bottles. You can’t remove the top for two of them; which is important because two (one big/ one small) out of three only have a small hole. You can’t put anything in them unless you have a really really tiny funnel the width of a dime (if that). Therefore making them useless; and impossible to clean. The third small bottle is just open (like a water bottle) so you can’t put anything pour liquids in them. If you don’t care about the bottle then I would say get it. If you do then I recommend finding another option! Personally I kept it because I care about the other components more, but will likely throw the bottles away.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plastic containers are thick/sturdy and easy to fill up. Scrubber is useful and the towels are nice quality. I hung this item on a tree and was able to just snap the wash towels onto the bottom snaps of the wrap to save room on my clothesline! Definitely my favorite part.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an ideal kit to keep kitchen utensils clean, its containers are ideal for carrying both cleaning soaps, oil and seasonings. The spatula and spoon are very easy to use. It is a kit that cannot be missing in any camping backpack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice set of tools for camp kitchen. I like the collapsible spoon and spatula best. We put hot sauce, oil, soap in the bottles. Not small but nice organization.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great containers… never leaked. Great for serving up dinner for the backcountry squad. Pair it with the X pot and you’re set!
I have had several other kitchen lits, but this by far the best..very nice well thought out details great kit
