[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to go camping with my daughter's scout troop. I love that it's super light and small and I can put it up by myself with a minimum amount of poles. I debated between the 2 & 3 and I'm glad I got the 3. The plan is to be in it by myself, but if needed, my daughter could share it with me. The rain fly is well designed and held up great during the early morning rain. It's all function and no fuss. I got a lot of compliments! Wishes- I wish it came with more stakes for the additional rain fly lines, but I didn't even untie them for the trip I went on. I also wish it had a matching footprint.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this tent. Super quick and easy for one person to set up. Love the interior pockets. Love the rain fly and options for tying it back. I haven't have any trouble with the zippers like some people have mentioned. Love the color too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tent for about 4 years now and have been more than satisfied. I've taken it on on more than 30 trips as well as some backcountry treks and it has preformed perfectly every time with still virtually no signs of wear. It is the perfect size to fit a queen air mattress if you are looking for comfort or if you want to squeeze you could fit 3 people on sleeping mats. I've tested it in high winds and rain and never had problems getting wet or cold. This tent is incredibly easy to set up every time and really has stood the test of time. I can definitely see myself buying another one if anything were to happen to my current tent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tent ⛺️! Light and super easy to setup!
This tent is fantastic! Easy to set up and it’s a great size for two people (6’3” and 5’8”). It’s also super light and packs down small, so it’s great for traveling in a plane and backpacking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I deliberated between a ton of tents. More research time than I'd like to admit. But for the cost, function, and purpose, I went with the Storm Break 3. I bought this for a section hike on the Appalachian Trail with my daughter. I'm 6'2 and she's 5'3. I carried the main and the poles, she carried the fly. It worked very well to split the weight. The two side openings and vestibules are great. We were very comfortable sleeping with both packs (55L and 45L) and our two 50lbs Vizslas (dogs) inside with us. Way roomier than expected. I am going to buy a second for when my wife and other daughter go with us.
Got this about a year ago. I go with north face because of the warranty. Used this a couple of times. The the bug mesh separated from the tent at the corner. Had to send it in to get fixed. 6 to 8 weeks to repair. Kind of a bummer as this was the tent for me and my son to camp in. Starting to look at other brands while I wait to get this back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used this tent for a backpacking trip through Yosemite, perfect size for my friend and I to be comfortable throughout our hike. Only downside is there is no way to roll up secure the door of the tent. It also has good storage pockets inside the tent and good loops to hang lighting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time out with the storm break 3 , it rained 5 out of 6 nights and didn't leak a bit . Easy set up and actually fits back in the bag it comes in easily . Best tent I've ever bought !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to pitch. Loved the inside pickets to keep your electronics off the ground. Works great without rainfly.
