Perfect for grounds/tennis court maintenance
I bought these shoes from a local retailer 8 months ago and they have held up fantastically. I work everyday on clay tennis courts and surrounding greens at a Country club. The abuse from the court materials and grounds maintenance have not phased the performance of these hikers at all. They keep my feet very dry and comfortable. Have gotten my feet wet once when I slipped into a retention pond. the shoes dried before my socks did. The only negative issue is that the insole is getting a little thin as of late.
Consistent fit, good performance.
I have become a Columbia shoe guy. The six 12 fits my narrow foot every time. This is probably the 10th similar hiker shoe I’ve bought in the last 20 years and the fit and comfort is consistent each time. I don’t even have to try them on before I buy! Comfortable, long lasting and decent looking. And reasonably priced. Yeah!
Satisfied
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought this needing a reliable shoe to trek a massive estate. Lots of gravel and mud. After a 10 sometimes 12 hour shift my feet feel perfectly fine! Great traction and nice snug fight, i’d maybe size up a half or so but overall this shoe is great. The laces do untie often so I plan on switching them out.
Not as pictured.
The black paneling on the side of the shoe in the picture is NOT on the actual shoe. The shoe itself is all white.
Pleasantly surprised...highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always loved Columbia for their summertime stuff (shoes, shorts, shirts) but when I even needed something more rugged for work (not quite work shoes just a tougher sneaker) I never really thought of Columbia. Recently I needed new sneakers for work and the brand that I usually bought had changed their designs and I just really didn't like them so I figured I would try Columbia. Very glad that I did. This shoe fit my every need. The only issue I had with it was that the shoe took a little longer to break in (was a little stiff) and that is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Just to note-when they finally got broken in they were perfect. I highly recommend this shoe.
These last forever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn these at work every day for the last year and they still have a lot of life left. I work in wireless comms and I'm always going out to jobsites and the outdoors. they have been very comfortable.
A really comfortable shoe; who knew?
If there is such a thing as an average foot, that's my foot. These shoes start out feeling tight, but that's your foot and your shoe getting to know each other. They're very comfortable. Nice total foot support; you're not swimming in the heel or especially the toes. The tread is well designed and, although I always look for "vibram", these soles seem grippy enough. And there's an AMAZING feature - the pull tab is actually big enough to put a finger through to pull the shoe on (and you'll need that at first to get past the tightness of the lacings). No heel lift, no rub.
Good shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these shoes to go hicking and everyday wear. Real comfortable. Hicked up enchanted rock with no problems and still hit the trails the same day. Good purchase.
Perfect
Perfectly fit. I put these shoes on almost everyday since I received it and no deformations so far. Planing to buy a new couple
good but tight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] they seem like very well made shoes, but they were very tight around the top of my feet especially around my toe joints.
