Love it

After multiple comparisons on trekking poles and 7 months of use. This one is just the right weight and the shock absorbers are a plus. I have not need to replace the spikes yet. I picked up an extra trekking pole for a family member. It's held up really well in flats, hills, and mountains. I can adjust the length on the go. A really sturdy item that I can add rubber feet if the ground changes to concrete(rarely used in this landscape). Very happy as I feel I my knees are not being used a lot like before without a trekking pole.

shock absorbers make BIG DIFFERENCE!

I’m a 73 year old grandma. I chose these Leki poles to get the shock absorbing technology. I am pleasantly surprised how much load these poles look off my legs ankles and feet! I can go much farther without feeling any pain! Easy to use and adjust. I added the rubber tips and look forward to many more short hikes!

Very light pole with great grips, no absorption

Extremely lightweight with nice grips. The shock absorption is unfortunately very minimal, which is why I bought these. You can barely feel it. If shock absorption isn't a consideration, it's a great hiking pole.

Lightweight yet sturdy and easy to use

Used this for past two weeks on trip to Glacier NP. Total of 55 miles and 11,000 feet elevation over 8 days of hiking. Held up quite well. Folds up nicely and easily adjustable.

Bought to replace an older pair of Leki Makalus

I purchased these poles to replace a set of roughly 15-year-old Leki Makalu ultralight titanium trekking poles that I finally bent descending Mt. Madison in NH. I recently used these hiking North and South Crocker in ME (12.4 miles total) and they worked great. I especially like the design of the adjusters since they don’t require a special tool to tighten unlike some other poles in the same price range. I got them on sale in the outlet, but if they hold up as well as the pair they replaced they would have been well worth the cost even at full price.
