Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great for hiking and everyday wear!
I received this free product in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved these pants not only is the material soft and stretchy but they’re also very lightweight. The pants have a soft material waistband that is form fitting but can be tightened on the inside still. The pants are great for everyday use wether it’s running errands going on a walk/hike or even yoga they can be used for everything! They are very lightweight so i did wear a base layer while hiking/ walking but would be perfect for fall maybe even summer activities on cooler day. These might become some of my favorite pants to wear around!
Comfy, cozy, & adventure proof
Instantly in love with how stretchy and comfortable these pants are! They are baggier than I am used to, but I ended up loving the extra room. I wore these pants during a morning yoga session, then flowed into computer work from home, followed by a sunset hike. All-day comfort, and not too hot while being active! The pants also performed well while camping in the desert- I hiked in them during the day, then added a pair of leggings underneath at night for added warmth. For sizing reference: I am 150 lbs and 5' 6'', and usually wear a 6-8 (or M/L) in women's bottoms. I have larger hips and a smaller waist, so the size medium sits right above my hips (almost high-waisted). The pant ends at my ankle, but I often roll them up at the bottom.
comfortable and stretchy
It's great for hiking or travel, I actually wore them to an outdoor yoga class. The material is stretchy and cool to touch. I like that it's high rise so the flat waist band can cover my belly button...Nice waist band, lays flat, very comfy, does not “dig in”. I am 5'4, the length is perfect. It's not slim fit, just comfortable tapered fit, so very roomy around the thighs. Great for athletic-built.
Comfy and actually flattering
I have tried on at least 20 different pairs of this style of pants (technical fabric but more of an everyday errands or WFH look) from many brands trying to find something that is as good as my Lucy (RIP Lucy!) pants and they all fit poorly or are annoying in some way. So glad to have tried this pant-- I already ordered more! The competition: Mountain Hardwear Dynama Ankle Pant is also attractive, but runs small and I'm awkwardly between a M and L and there is no waist cinch. Many pants like the Athleta Brooklyn ankle pant have bulky butt pocket zippers-- these don't. Many other pants have zippers on the regular pockets which is uncomfortable in a climbing harness. And I can't even list all the pants that clung to my thighs or bunched below the waistband in the back. Downsides: On the green I think the cotton waist color is a little tacky but my shirt covers it. They are a little too long (longer than Dynama) but I roll them for now and I'll eventually get them tailored. Sizing: Runs large. I'm usually a size 10 or 29 in pants with a 32" waist and 38" hips. The Medium is plenty big enough, verging on too big. It runs bigger than any other pant I've tried at REI, especially Arcteryx, KUHL, and Patagonia (which all run small).
Comfy and Light!
These pants are so lightweight and breezy! Even though the fit of these is super relaxed, the waistband still sits in just the right spot so it doesn't slide down. I tried these out doing yoga, climbing (twice), and just lounging around. I probably won't wear them for yoga again only because I prefer a tighter fit of pants for that (and they didn't work for tree pose as my foot kept sliding), but they have a fantastic stretch and are super easy to move around in. I was surprised at how much mobility I had in these while climbing--they are SO stretchy and feel like air! However, I would like it if there was a way to cinch the pants around the ankles to make them a little less floppy at the bottom. They also scrunch a little under a harness, but I didn't really notice it once I was actually climbing. Again, the stretch is amazing, unlike any other pants I've worn. One thing to note is that while these are super comfy for hanging out, they are VERY thin and provide no barrier to the cold, so I don't recommend them for hanging around in the winter if you're looking for something cozy. Finally, a couple bonuses: nice little zip pocket on the right leg, and super easy to wash.
Great for every day activities and outdoor pursuit
If I could wear these pants every day I would! They have been great for my daily dog walks around the park, going on a trail hike, traveling on quick weekend trip to Santa Fe, and even going to the grocery store. They run a bit big but that’s great because they aren’t too tight. They are comfy with a wide waistband and the material is flexible and breathable. These are perfect for just about everything. Highly recommend!
Multi-purpose pants!
These pants are so comfortable! I was looking for comfortable stretchy hiking pants and came across these in store. Versatile, 1st place I wore them was to church! (?) Waist band not that cute but easily covered by my shirt. I immediately bought the other color because they fit so well. I'm glad I tried them on in store first as I ended up buying a medium. They do run larger than normal. I'm normally a size 12 in pants. Athletic build, HIIT body, smaller waist but larger thighs. These pants are perfect for me. If more colors are made, I'll buy them all.
Fabulously Comfortable
I love the design and material of these pants. The waistband is wide and doesn’t dig into the skin. The fit is roomy for flexible movement. Because I wanted to wear these for my workouts I wanted a loose fit. Also the REI plus size models impressed me so I checked the size chart and opted for the XLg as I was right on the edge between Lg and XLg. A little too big but workable for around the house. ( I am 5’2” 145 lbs. ). I plan to purchase another pair in Lg in case I want to workout and then leave the house
Amazing feel
Wasn’t expecting to love these pants especially for the summer but they’re so breathable and comfortable. I barely sweat in them, it’s amazing. I’ll definitely be buying more. Just wish there were more colors. For more specifics: I’m 5’2’’ and the length of the Medium size is perfect for my leg length. The pants might run a bit shorter for people with longer legs but I don’t think it would be an extreme change. Band at the top also allows for extra stretch (not too much though).
My Favorite Pants
I’m 5’9” and curvy/athletic. I got these in a large and they are easily my new favorite pants. They have a wide, soft waistband and higher rise, like a good yoga pant, but they are loose fitting but tapered and flattering. They stretch every which way do you can move and keep you cool. These are great for hiking, traveling, or simply grabbing lunch. Must importantly, they make my butt look great! Love them.
