REI Co-op  Active Pursuits 7/8 Tights - Women's

I have been wearing these tights for everything since I got them, they are so comfortable! I've worn them to yoga, the climbing gym, and outdoors for running and cross-country skiing. My favorite part about them is the wide, high waistband that is very comfortable and doesn't dig in or roll down. They also do not sag or ride down, even after a few hours of skiing. They are lightweight enough to be comfortable in a warm gym but they are not see-through and don't show sweat. I haven't tried the back pocket - I don't usually use this type of sleeve pocket (prefer to carry my phone and keys in a water belt). They've been through the wash and dryer a few times and show no signs of wear. I am 5'5", 130 lbs, and a size medium fits great.

Great workout leggings have some things in common: not see-through, fit snugly without restricting movement, hold up over time, and it's nice if you forget you are wearing them and nothing bothers you. While I haven't had them long enough to know their durability, so far, these meet those required criteria with the bonus that they are cute! I love the purple design. They do need to be pulled up to the right spot in order for the waistband to not roll down too much while bending over. These move well with you. I was pleased to noticed that while walking, these almost make me feel like my thighs don't touch (they definitely do) and it's nice to not experience friction there while moving. They are comfortable and fit well except the length seems weird on me; I would want them either full-length or a lot shorter to be capri-length. I'm tall-ish at 5'8" but do not have exceptionally long legs. They have washed and dried well so far. Overall, these are great.

These are great tights! I’ve used them 10-15 times now and they have held up well to a variety of activities including running, hiking and cycling. They are very soft and I really like the 7/8 length since they don’t interfere with my socks (no chance for rubbing). My only complaint is that there is no side pocket for a phone and the back pocket isn’t big enough for my phone. It’s definitely big enough for a key or a credit card/cash but I have to carry my phone separately. They have great overall compression and do not tend to roll down as some with a thinner waistband can. These are a great option to just pull on in the morning and be comfortable all day no matter what you’re doing!

These tights are very comfortable with supportive compression in the legs. The waist is very wide and may be meant for rolling over but I'm not sure. On me the waist was loose and tended to bunched down throughout the workout. There is a pocket in the back that is large enough for my phone, which is a nice idea especially since it's big. Because the waist was relatively loose in comparison to the legs, when I put my phone in it, the back was held up while the front still wanted to roll or bunch. It may be that these just didn't fit me quite right. I was much happier with them for more moderate workouts than for strenuous workouts. The fabric is not very breathable which was very obvious during runs or hard strength training. They're very cute, though, and would work for less strenuous activity with the right fit.

I bought these leggings yesterday and I was between a M and a L. I normally buy a L, but I was concerned as my leggings in general do roll down a bit after some time so an REI member told me to size down. After lounging in the house today I noticed that my cheetah print underneath these leggings in particular didn’t pass the squat test :( I am on the fence to return because I do feel that they fit fine, but not sure how to decide with the opaqueness. Really wanted to love them until I did the squat test, which I know a lot of reviews say not to worry about it.. my experience was different

I originally bought a size medium as that’s what I wear in most tights. They ripped after wearing them one time on the seam of the butt. I returned them for a size large and they fit great, were really comfortable and nice. I only wore these around my house and for errands. Nothing serious as it’s cold and dark out lately and I have a toddler. The crotch area has ripped in the large and I’ve only had them for maybe two weeks. I really liked these but I don’t think I’ll be buying them again.

These are very nice tights. I'm 5 ft 124 pounds, I purchased a size small. Very nice material feels great against the skin, washed well with no issues. Only issue I have is no pockets except 1 slit type up in the back of the waist band. Maybe big enough for a credit card and key. I knew there were no pockets before buying and bought them anyway because they were on sale. For the sale price, these tights are well worth the money

All the other reviews at the moment show that this product was received free. I, however, paid for these leggings and they will be returned. The fit is awkward for me. I have large thigh and calf muscles and these leggings just were not comfortable in those areas. I never rate things online, but i feel pretty let down that REI shows them as best sellers with so few real reviews.

I loved the thick fabric and fit of these, however, after 2 hours of casual wear, they tore down the center seam. I wasn’t even doing anything physical in them.

These tights are great. I recently wore them on a 5k trail run and they really impressed me. The waist band did not budge the entire run like most tights usually do. The moisture wicking material was very breathable and kept me dry in the rain. I would say these are some of the best tights I have purchased. I wear a size 14 in pants and the L fit me well.
