Helinox  Personal Shade

It's very useful for sunny and rainy days.

We have had these Helinox shades for years and find them very easy to use and adjust. They are a responsible part of our kit and negate the need for a beach umbrella.

It's a great addition to my Helios Beach Chair. The set up is easy and it works well. I was a little disappointed that the poles are too long to fit inside the Beach Chair bag with the rest of the equipment. They stick out by 6 or 7 inches. It seems like all Helinox had to do was make the crossbars in 3 pieces instead of 2 and it would all fit in one neat package.

It’s a nice quality product and it was pretty easy to set up. Functions as intended. A bit expensive for what it is. I bought it at 20 percent off during a sale and still thought it was over priced. I’d give it 5 stars though if it was $40 less.

This is a poorly designed product. Poles are about 30% longer than poles on the helinox chairs so you have to carry around yet another bag with 3 foot poles that can’t fit into a backpack. They should have shortened the poles or made them 2 piece. I’ll be returning this asap.

I love my chair but this thing is entirely useless. It is complicated to set up, cannot adjust, provides little coverage, and is WAY overpriced.

Pretty good product. Limited in shade capacity to straight down. Should have shorter tube sections to be more portable. Originally very overpriced, fair price on sale. Very well made, as is everything Helinox makes!
