This style is hard to come by in (mostly) cotton, so when I saw this in-store, I had to have it. The didn't have my size but I was able to have it shipped to me. The cotton is soft, but not thin like so many others have gone the way of these days. It was perfect for the 48 degree morning we had today. I love that is has pockets instead of the kangaroo pouch. I have a short torso and this hits just at my waist, so it may be too short (or cropped if that is your thing) for some. Ordered medium and for a chesty person the fit was good (36DD). Have not washed yet, so I cannot attest to how it will hold up, but so far so good! Will be getting the neutral mauve-rose-whatever you call it, as well.
Fit & Function
Absolutely in love with this half zip. I’m 5’2, 150lbs and I got a Large. I have a shorter torso and this fits just right on me (not too long and not too short) the large size let’s me wear a shirt underneath and I still have room to move. I also love that this material doesn’t wrinkle too much, since I usually wear it for travel. It also softens more with each wash but never looses its shape! Great stuff!
Love in a sweatshirt
I love this sweatshirt more than I thought it was possible to love a sweatshirt. I have it in green and now am eyeing up other colors because when you love something so much you should have multiples. It is soft, has nice cuffs that aren’t too tight, has a nice shape without being too long or too short, and the pocket makes it perfect. The bit of a dropped sleeve detail adds a nice distinction and the shape is perfect. Warm without being bulky. I have not washed it yet so I’m hoping no tragedy ensues from that process. Would make a great gift! Runs true to size for me, but size up if you want a more roomy oversized fit.
So comfy
The color is great. My complaint is that on the care tag there is no English instructions on how to wash or dry. German Asian Spanish but not English? I can decipher warm water but I don’t know about drying
Size Up
Gotta say that I was disappointed in how the fabric performed in the wash. I bought a small, the size I always get in Patagonia tops, and this piece shrunk just about a size. It became too snug to pull over my head and then comfortably wear with an underpinning. I returned it and REI was amazing in honoring their commitment of guarantee everything they sell. I'll repurchase but it'll be medium.
wanted to love this
This is super soft and a flattering cut despite being a little on the short side; but I was disappointed when it pilled on the back after wearing it for a 30 minute drive
Best pullover
Super cozy pullover and still looks “put together”, unlike a lot of sweatshirts! Feels like pajamas and yet I can wear them to work since I’ve gotten a few embroidered. I always find that sleeves are too short but these are perfect! 5’9” / 150 lbs, size large is IT

This sweatshirt is a great weight, perfect for Fall. I love the color and the material is super soft.
Beautiful, cozy feel top!
This top has the perfect fit, sizing and color! It is very hard to find this rich plum color in tops and the soft inside. Washed well too. Would prefer 2 separate zipped pockets for iPhone, but the pouch pocket works too. And I also like that the collar stays down when unzipped, unlike many that stand up stiffly into your chin. Patagonia is always a 1st choice brand for me because of their ethical, environmental care. Bought a 2nd one since this is a rare find...
Tight at waist
Overall a lovely Patagonia product. A great fit at shoulders and sleeve length for a petite person (size XS) but tight around the waist. When active and moving arms, the waistband creeps up and turns inside out. Returning to store.
