Great for data to the Garmin
Installed with zipties on an old Trek Lexa SLX (aluminum frame road bike, pre-duotrap design) and this works flawlessly with a Garmin Edge 1000 for both cadence and speed data. I did place some helicopter tape on my frame for the zip ties, but otherwise, solid.
Works well
I bought this on sale for half the price of a Garmin unit. I installed on my road bike, where it has worked well. It has a rubber ring which slides onto the left crank arm. The pedal must be removed to do this. Thus, to swap it to another bike, you’d need to remove the left pedal on each bike. Don’t forget that their thread is left handed. I now wish I’d bought two, as I don’t want to swap.
