I just received this product so my comments are mostly focused on fit. I bought the jacket for an upcoming second Grand Canyon rafting trip. A takeaway from my first trip is that quality outerwear is one of the most important determinants of comfort and ultimately enjoyment. This is a relatively expensive, but high quality jacket. It is waterproof, but using a material that allows for wicking of moisture; able to accommodate both being soaked with cold river water in storms and periods drifting in the hot sun. It has neoprene wrist seals, an extended skirt protecting the waist, a fitted hood and a robust double closure at the neck, all of which should help keep out the water. For now, I can only comment on the fit. The chest, shoulders and waist all run true to the size chart, in my case XL. The sleeves are long for me, but the wrist closures insure that they don't hang over my hands. The extra length may also facilitate the movements involved in paddling. Looking forward to trying this out on the Colorado River!
I bought this jacket with the endurance pants for sailing. Great quality and fit. I’m 5’11” and 150. The outfit size M fits like it’s custom made for me.
