Smooth and comfortable
My thighs aren't my best feature, so prefer the longer Freeflex Cargo short. Still, these are attractive. I just like more length sitting down. Smooth fabric. Doesn't pull on my thigh when I step up. Not form-fitting. More relaxed fit than other Kuhl shorts. No shrinkage since no cotton. If you buy Kuhl, buy them only at REI, from a company with customer service. Do not order directly from Kuhl. They won't accept defective items back and the process to try to get a refund is very difficult, involving picture proof. Be cautious with any Kuhl short or pant with cotton. I ordered a pair of Splash Kuhl shorts and in the first and only wash, the shrinkage was strange and inconsistent. Shrunk more than a size. Still waiting to hear if Kuhl will consider my "warranty" review.
Remarkable!
These are remarkable shorts. So many shorts have huge legs so it appears one is wearing culottes. Not this one. Gives a slim appearance, the fabric stretches nicely and has a nice substantial hand. I was hoping I was not going to like them as they are so expensive but I think I have to keep them. The color is nice too.
Cute shorts
These have a nice cut and look great for hiking or social outings. Unfortunately, they run big. I'm sending back for a smaller size. The waist is quite oversized and the drawstring since it's elastic, does not do a great job cinching up all the extra space. Nice pockets. Good length.
Perfect paddling shorts
So glad I bought these! Ordered them in two sizes to make sure I got the right fit (I'm 5'3" with a 39" waist and 43" hips). Thanks to the elastic waistband, the Size L fit spot on. They're flattering and the zip pockets are just right. My search for the best kayaking shorts is over. Yay!
Will buy another pair of these.
Purchased to wear on a river trip. They held up well, stayed true to size, didn't stretch out. Quick dry, and stayed comfortable even when wet. May have to get another pair.
Comfortable fit, quick dry, a travel must
These are my favorite shorts. I am 5 ft 3 in and weigh 117 lbs. I bought the size small. It fits comfortably just below my navel without using the draw string. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch, and the shorts wash well, dry quickly and do not wrinkle. Will be great for travel.
My new favorite shorts
These are the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned. The fit is generous and it has a drawstring to adjust the waist. They are super lightweight and breathable. I like that the pockets zip so you don’t have to worry about things falling out of your pockets. Great for wearing with a casual outfit or hiking. I got the blue color and it’s much nicer than I thought, it goes well with almost everything. I’ll definitely be picking up another pair.
Nice shorts
These are nice shorts, just not for me. Waist was very wide and I didn't like the drawstring so I returned them. Nice material as I recall.
Comfortable and great front zippered pockets
Dependable Kuhl. Very comfortable, longer on me (which I like) than the model shows. Also nice color. Versatile enough for casual wear or hiking/camping
Great shorts
Perfect weight material and perfect length. I love these shorts. The elastic waist is very comfortable and pockets are great! Bought two colors and will probably buy more.
