Comfortable, but rides up
There are things I love about these shorts, but they have some issues for me. The material is a nice thick, stretchy cotton that’s soft. The stretch makes them comfortable for hiking or just wearing around town. The major issue for me is that they ride up in the back. It makes them feel like a much shorter inseam than the 4 in they actually are.

Terrific all-around shorts! I love the quality of Kuhl products, and these shorts fit the bill. They're sturdy, super well made, and comfortable. They're a good length (as short as I'll go at this point haha), and are perfect for my daily walking / hiking (and any other activity). Fit tts: I'm 5'9 ~136 and got the 6 and they're perfect. I bought several pairs of the same.
