Colors Are Not As They Appear
Like the fit of this jacket. I'm 5'4" and frequently have problems with sleeves being too long. I got the S and the sleeves fit perfectly. I also like the length (mid hip) and the styling of the bottom placket. IMO, this is a light/medium weight fleece, not nearly as dense and warm as others I own. It won't be warm enough when there's a chilly wind. As others have noted, the colors are very different than they appear online (I checked several sites before buying). The Blurple is a muted grape with a pale turquoise and the Dark Storm is a very meh medium charcoal gray.

Colors are not accurate
I really wanted to love this jacket, but the colors are significantly different vs what is pictured online. The gray featured online is more of an olive green and the turquoise is more like an aqua. Please correct this on rei.com.

The turq fleece looks NOTHING like the photo…

I already owned this fleece in another color and LOVE it! It looks exactly like the photo, kept me super warm, nice pockets, hasn’t shrunk in the wash, and is stylish. I decided to order a second one in another color. This time I ordered the fleece in the “Washed Turq” color. It arrived and I instantly thought maybe they accidentally sent the wrong one. I checked my online order to compare the tag and this was the “correct” fleece. The material and design is great, but this fleece looks NOTHING like the color I ordered. I expected gray and teal like pictured and this arrived with light blue, gray, and green. I bought this color to match a couple pair of shoes I have, but this fleece doesn’t really match anything now. The colors aren’t terrible, but the photo posted needs to be changed ASAP so the people buying this know what they’re actually getting. See photo attached to compare the difference.

Completely different color than in photos.

Looks completely different than the photos. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing. Would be great if the photo was updated to reflect the actual product. If you purchase the gray/teal/black option, it will arrive a bright turquoise blue and pea green combo. It’s just a very different look than the photo.

Great jacket, but didn’t fill my need :(

I really loved this jacket, the fabric had a great feel, sturdy and soft. The cut was great, enough space without feeling confining or baggy. I was disappointed that the shoulders didn’t have the same abrasion resistance as the neck and forearms because a backpack will probably eat that up in no time. However, after a lot of agonizing, I ultimately returned it because if the pockets. I am obsessive about pockets; the reason I love old-school Mountain Hardware -always had a lot of pockets, amply sized ! These pocket openings were only slightly larger than the width of my hand, consequently if I was clutching something - my phone, a packet of tissues, my key fob - I couldn’t readily get my hand out. Yes, I tried all of those, very frustrated, very disappointed ! I love my 20+ year old MH everything (wind pants, down jacket, rainproof shell, windproof water resistant gloves), so I am feeling dejected and panicked - now what, break ups are so hard.

I love this jacket. So. Much.

The color was a little off but it still looks nice and it doesn't bother me because it fits so well. I have a lot of trouble finding jackets that fit my waist AND my chest (if it fits my waist, it'll be too tight on my chest and if it fits my chest then it's too loose on my waist.) Did I mention it's really warm?? I wore it out for a walk in 37 degree weather and I was warm the whole time.

Great fleece, wrong colors

I love the weight of this fleece. Fit is great. The colors however, are not even close to the picture. The gray is an olive and teal is a lighter teal-ish color.

My favorite thing to wear

I love love love this soft, fuzzy fleece. I bought the black and "washed raisin" color. It has durable micro-faille on the back of the sleeves from elbows to wrists which looks cool and looks like it will take the brunt of wear instead of the fleece fabric. My only complaint that it's too warm to wear all the time!

Soft material and roomy fit

Jacket is soft with a roomy fit, great for layering. Material is on the thicker side, so it is very warm. Zipper pockets are large enough for my iPhone and keys. Happy I purchased it!

Color nothing to do with the one in the picture

I bought the Washed Turquoise too and received a total different color, the same as the one in the picture posted by TheDozerWalks. I'm usually a size S in MH products, but I got this one in XS for a perfect fit. I already own a S in another color and fits too loose to my liking. So I went a size down and I like the way it looks much better. Warm, well finished and constructed. Sadly not the color I was expecting...
