Great restoration cream
I bought this at REI because of thereviews I read about the cream being dried and bumpy, so I knew if I didn’t like the consistency I could return it. I used this on my blown stones rustic brown that I had for five years now. I think it’s all about expectation. I wasn’t expecting the cream to make them look like new or the exact color that they were when I bought them. It definitely gives them a darker tint But honestly, it doesn’t bother me. I like how they look after the cream application then what they looked before. I use that little towel to apply the cream and only used a little bit of the cream because I didn’t want it too dark. I know many people complain about the cream, but I liked it. As I said, I think it’s all about expectations.
Worked as advertised
Was not dried out like some other reviews mentioned. It did completely alter the color of my rustic brown Blundstone Chelsea Boots. I had owned my boots for 3+ years without doing any maintenance or upkeep on them, so I think this helped restore the leather. I also applied a waterproofing wax on top, so I cannot attest to if this product helped to waterproof at all.
Not a leather cream but polish stay away
Save your money. Purchased the RENOVATING CREAM BROWN and it was horrible. Arrived dried out and lumpy. Not a cream at all. But the worst thing is it is tinted and totally changes the color of your boots. The color is not the brown of your boots at all. and did I mention its lumpy. It leaves clumps all over the boots, and is more like a polish and not a leather cream at all. My boots are worst off for using it. Save your money and get a different leather cream.

I have had the Blundstone #585 in Rustic brown for about 2.5 years and have been my daily driver since. I had never oiled / taken care of the leather until a few months ago when I noticed the leather was getting really light and almost had a green-ish tint to them? The Rustic cream works great with my Blundstones for making them look conditioned again, but I felt like they never looked quite like how they were new (and I understand that they're shoes and are supposed to be worn). I purchased the Brown cream and mixed it with the Rustic and it tinted my shoes to the perfect color! You just need a little bit of the brown, enough to tint the cream to a milk chocolate color. Both creams arrived in good condition and work really well at protecting the leather on my shoes.
Great Cream! Not dry or clumpy
This cream is great! The rustic cream completely restored the life in my rustic brown waterproof bloodstones. Contrary to other reviews, the cream was not dry or clumpy, and had a great consistency that rubbed in easily.
Dried out - must have been sitting around!
Not a cream at all but a dried out container where the solvents have evaporated. Unusable as a cream even when you melt it slightly 10 sec in mwave. Do not buy.

I literally never leave reviews on anything, but this was a GREAT purchase for my favorite pair of boots. Easy, immediate, and they look brand new again. It doesn’t take much of the product to rejuvenate these boots, so I’ll have this cream for a long time! Would purchase again, immediately. I wish I could submit the photos for proof but you’ll have to take my word!
