Our family's new sandbar favorite.
Wife, kids, grandparents all give a big thumbs up. And I like that I can deflate and throw it in (an unused) fish box. Inflating with the hand pump is easier than I expected.
It's a hit! But beware bubbles.
We've had the 10x10 dock since I came out and it's provided endless hours of entertainment for our kids when we're down on the water. It's construction and durability has been impressive even under constant punishment from rowdy teenagers. The Hangout has taken our summertime river game to the next level. It's comfortable, well designed and has already become the center of our chill zone. The only issue we've had is bubbling of the superficial deck. We had two bubbles develop almost immediately, and one is growing. It appears just the outer layer is affected, so I know it's not structural, but we will need to keep it from getting worse. I haven't contacted Bote support yet but intend to. All in all it's a great product for the price.
Best float for the water!
We take this thing everywhere, whether it be to the sandbar, beach, pool, you name it! Every time we use it we spend hours and hours on the float. Every time we take it out people approach us to ask us where we bought it. We had an issue with our hangout and the BOTE customer service was absolutely excellent about the whole thing. They truly stand by their product. They resolved our problem and now we can continue to enjoy our hangout! Thanks Bote for the excellent product and customer service!
Love the Hangout design
We love the design, but it is a little heavier than I expected. It is also a bit difficult to get back onboard, or deflate when you are moored or anchored out. I think if I had a do-over, I'd buy the square pad instead. We had a large square pad, a Lily Pad and the Hang-out all out at the same time for our guests (18) recently. Everyone ended up hanging out on the large square pad, and rarely on either of the others. The Bote square pad is less expensive than the Hang out.
Casey's hang out
Awesome product it was a hit over the 4th weekend! The only sugestion I have is put a heavy duty D-ring on it for anchoring. The handles hold up fine to anchor off of, I just think a D-ring would hold up better. Also there was a scuff where the green color rubbed off down to the fabric. It held air fine it's probably cosmetic. I'll send a pic to have you guys determine if it's going to be an issue down the road. Thanks
It's awesome!
I've used this a handful of times this summer, and everyone loves it. We can easily fit several people plus a dog, and of course the cooler. The magnetic tumblers work great with it - I'm hoping they'll come out with other items like magnetic beer coozies too. The only downside is that it'd be nice if there were more since people often hang out on it as well as around it. Overall, I'm very happy that I decided to get one.
Dock hangout
Matt was awesome to work with in making decision for the hangout. Hangout inflated easily and quickly. Deflation was equally quick and easy. We originally did not purchase the electric pump. Later we made a second trip to shop and purchased that. Highly recommend spending the extra on the electric pump for inflate and deflating. Great looking float. Looking forward to some good times and great memories on the hangout.
Best Lake Raft Yet
We live on a small lake in Northern Indiana, I bought this for the family but there never seems to be enough room for everyone because they all want to be on it! 6 People can sit comfortable on it. The magnets that hold the Drinks are incredible, I would recommend the Cups that Bote Sell they have another magnet in them so they don't move. You can use a Yeti style and the magnet hold the drink but not as firm.
Great products Great Service
I have now bought the dock hangout, a paddle board (as a gift for my folks) as well as a canoe. We had some trouble with the freight company damaging the paddle board but couldn't see the damage until after it was unboxed. My parents had signed for it not knowing there was some damage. BOTE is replacing the board! Great service abd easy to work with. I will be back to enjoy more of your great products.
Floating Couch
This thing is amazing, every time I'm out on the water I get comments about how cool it is. Everyone calls it the floating couch! Overall it's pretty light but my one complaint is trying to put it away: the straps that come with it for storage are WAY TOO SHORT so I don't even use them. If Bote could increase the length of the straps that would be amazing for future owners of the amazing Dock Hangout!
