Great kit if you're starting from scratch!

Great value, it's got all the basics for maintaining your side edges, waxing, and repairing minor base damage. Definitely plan on spending some time educating yourself on how to use it properly, the G3 and Swix workshop videos on Youtube are fantastic to make sure you don't do more harm than good (especially when working on your edges). Be warned that if you're like me you'll immediately want to buy more tools (vice, better edge tool, etc), but this is great to get you started.

An expensive kit that covers the basics

I bought this with an intent to practice repairing my own board. There aren’t instructions included, so you pretty much will have to learn by watching other videos or searching for online manuals (which seemed to be difficult to locate for this brand). The iron, gummy stone and the steel scraper are pretty much the most useful tools in this kit. Even though they want you to use the plastic scraper, I find it to be messy since it’ll never be clean of wax when you’re done. The double sided brush is kind pointless - you’d try to use one side and it’ll end up mixing the bristles and cutting up the board anyways. I found that a scotchbrite works better at buffing. The wax does its job, and you learn to heat up the board a little so that the wax gets absorbed. They’ve included some ptex candles and a nice bag to hold everything. The edge tuner 87/88 degrees isn’t beginner user friendly - you kind of have to ask the rei associate or a friend to teach you. Swix is a big name brand in this industry, but there are other affordable kits out there not sold by REI, if you’re looking for additional customization.

Great all in one kit for most ski wax & tunings

This is a great ski tuning kit, it has everything you need to get started and wax, edge, and repair most skis and snowboards under normal conditions. Mot people will still likely use their preferred wax of choice as the included wax isn't great. Its not bad, but its a pretty standard all condition wax so regionally you may find its performance with mixed results. All of the individual pieces are pretty standard quality, my only concern is that I wish the brass brush and nylon brushes were two individual pieces. It is a 50/50 brush and is sort of awkward to use. The Ptex worked great to repair some dings in my bases, as did the metal scraper. The plastic scraper works great as well. The iron, what you would expect a ski wax iron to do. Overall for the money I was pretty impressed to get a kit essentially from swix for less than $100.

Simple wax kit. Needs some instructions in the kit. Comes with speed wax stick, hot iron (set in Celsius 130-140) two sticks idk what are for yet, steel & plastic scrapers, and a edger.

Good for price

This was a great steal in my opinion, it came with everything needed for waxing my snowboard. Loved it only problem was I needed cold wax and it had all weather, but nothing else 10/10 would recommend
