Nothing Like Ice Cream!

I don't know why so many others rate this so highly. Like some have said, the freeze-dried ice cream has the consistency of Styrofoam, and tastes nothing like vanilla ice cream. Having said that, the overall sweet taste isn't terrible, but I'd much prefer a decent packaged cookie over this, and it would be way less expensive!

Surprisingly delicious!

I've tried others brands and this one is the best so far! The chocolate wafer actually tastes like chocolate and the vanilla is flavorful just like the real deal!

It's a slippery slope

I bought this on a lark. WOW. I could skip regular ice cream and just eat this junk until I pop. Will definitely be adding these to my backpacking diet.

Yummy!

I've been eating this product since childhood, and I've always loved it! Freeze dried ice cream is not really, very much like ice cream at all. Freeze dried ice cream is its own wonderful thing! The consistency is similar to those puffy meringue cookies, but it melts in your mouth in a much more creamy way.

Weird and wonderful

This stuff is really good in a strange sort of way. Kind of like eating a piece of styrofoam, but styrofoam that tastes really good. Only reason for 4 stars is because it always seems to be in a hundred pieces in the package. Then again, I guess that just saves having to break it up!

Nice & Simple Dessert For The Great Outdoors!!

I bought one of these a while back simply out of pure curiosity. I was incredibly surprised at how much it tasted like a regular ice cream sandwich!! Yes they are on the hard side and they do break/crumble kinda easy, but hey, for what it is it's d*mn good and a nice option since the real thing is almost impossible to take on a hiking/backpacking trip unless you wanna haul around a mini cooler and dry ice! Lol. Will definitely buy these again and will recommend to friends/family!!!
