My toes love these socks

My nephew hikes alot and turned me on to Smartwool socks. Why? These socks don't have that bulky seam that goes across your toes. Hence, you do NOT get the rub that causes calluses and corns. I use these socks in my hiking boots when I am out doing yard work. My toes love me for it. They are reinforced in the ball of the foot and in the heel to provide cushion and to help extend the life of the socks. They are very expensive socks but, in my opinion, they are well worth the money for the comfort alone. I can't comment on the life of these socks. I really don't wear them but maybe a couple times a month.

This socks kick so much bootay

Love love love! I rock these bad boys on long trail runs in the Rocky Mountains. The merino makes them wick so well and prevent blisters. The synthetic blended in makes them hold up well and stretch nicely. Many/most of Smartwool’s socks are too binding for my legs, but these just stretch so nicely. After trying one, I came back and bought 4 more. (I also love the 70’s tube sock steez that the white with blue stripe adds to a rugged trail outfit/environment).

You get what you pay for

I'm on my feet all day, LEO. So I buy decent socks ( read big box store) or so I thought. Turns out wearing socks too long is like wearing a sneaker too long. Not good! After many cycles of laundry, too many with fabric softener. Old socks don't absorb sweat. Your feet get moist, or clammy in the cold. To the rescue Smartwool! Naturally wicking, comfortable ( padding where it counts). Breathable and no bunching. I'll pay the premium. My feet are happy now, and so am I.

Great training and all around sock

Purchased these socks mainly for training in the gym. My initial impression was they are a little thin in the non cushion areas, but these have turned out to be one of my favorite socks, and I own a lot! They are very comfortable and the amount of cushion make them great for training, but I also find myself wearing them most often around the house and even to bed on cooler nights. Bought several pairs.

They've done it again!

I initially liked the design and bought a pair just for that, but these are a more light wear sock that I can use during the hotter summer months. I'm definitely getting away with wearing them to the office and also running/ walking around outside on the warmer days. Really great product and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who enjoys good socks

White socks turn brown in wash

These socks were comfortable, but they turned a tan/natural wool color after the first wash.

Good alternative to cotton athletic socks

These socks are super comfortable while remaining lightweight. I wanted to replace my old nike cotton style athletic socks with someone more durable and capable in differing climates. These have been great. They can be a little slick inside of the shoe, but this may change with washings.

Warm and Cozy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these socks to give to my Dad, whose feet are always cold. I started wearing smartwool socks on camping trips with my son's boy scout troop. They are the warmest, coziest socks I've ever put on my feet. Can't wait for Dad to try them!

My new standard

I have worn Smartwool socks in the winter for some time. They're now the only ones I'll buy. Just tried these Athletic Light Elite Stripe Crew Socks and guess what, they've instantly become my summertime choice. Worth every penny!
