I’ve been buying this exact fleece for years now, usually i’ll size up after a year or 2 of wearing my older ones, and this year i decided to go with the 2xl and i also decided to order a different color besides black for once and let me tell y’all… IM SO HAPPY I DID ITS SOO CUTEEE!! I love my new Columbia and I can’t wait to wear it to school ((: . The sizing is also perfect! i like for my jackets/hoodies to fit a bit on the loose side so i can have more mobility lol so i’m super happy with the size i chose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw this color (Dark Sea) on a woman at a store and fell in love with it and immediately came home to order it. I already own three of these in gorgeous colors, so this makes my fourth! I am a regular size 16, but order a 1X so I can wear this as a warm jacket with a shirt under it for fall and early winter in MN. It is the perfect weight for chilly temps before the down jacket has to come out. The price on the site is less than what I would pay if I purchased a Plus size in the store. Very happy with my purchase and may have to order another color...I am eyeing Aquarium and Iris...oh boy...
Odd Fit
I typically wear a 1x-2x in shirts; however, after reading reviews I was aware that the jackets ran a bit small. I decided to order a 3x just to be sure it fit with sweatshirts underneath and was comfy. When I got the jacket (I am 5'9) the sleeves were short (which usually is a problem for me) and the overall length of the jacket was short. It looked awkward on, and although it fit everywhere else the midsection was large. I ended up sending the jacket back (free shipping to get it to me, but definitely not free to send back!) and I went to a local department store that sells Columbia jackets and bought an xl in mens that fit perfectly.
Perfect Spring Jacket!
I bought this for my mom as an Easter present, I bought the periwinkle color and it is so springy. It makes me happy to see her in it every time she wears it because it is a very joyful color, it is the perfect jacket to wear in spring time in New England, she can wear it to work in an office where the air conditions seem to be running all year, it fits her perfectly true to size. It seems to be good quality, although the last one I got her at Christmas did have a seam unravel, but I don't mind since I can fix that. My mom loves loves loves the pockets, which she always keeps full with cough drops! haha I hope to buy one for me to wear this spring soon too!
Highly Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so disappointed in this product by Columbia!! Columbia is one of the few brands that creates outdoor gear in plus sizes so I’ve been loyal to this brand for years, but this particular jacket must be defective. When I received this jacket, it already had a hole in the inside left pocket. I work outdoors in a remote location, so I wouldn’t have time to return it, but I assumed it would be warm. It was not! Even a little wind cuts through it, so it doesn’t function well as a coat. You must wear layers with this jacket! It has already begun to fade after about 10 wears. I’m hoping it’s just this one product, but I’m hesitant to ever purchase from this company again. The one good thing about it is that it is true to size (I sized up to accommodate layers).
Fit and Style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Plus size 22. After ordering the 3X thinking I would want it to be able to layer, I found it a little big still. I returned it for the 2X and found THE PERFECT FIT! It will layer over some Fall wear yet not be bulky and frumpy. It fits well, is fitted enough to allow some form fitting to see that there is a woman's figure underneath, and it is the perfect length to hang below the waistline. I also found the sleeves to be the right length for my 5' 7" frame. I ordered the plum color, and it truly is a rich, darker, duskier plum color rather than a vibrant purple. I really am loving the feel of this jacket too!

I have at least 15 of these fleece jakcets and i LOVE them. I buy a couple new colors each winter. This time is just apuling!! I received the jacket and it was USED!! It had a stain and had clearly been worn! I sent it back for a efund but i am upset because i had plans to wear it somewhere and couldnt because i had to return it. I ordered two others that were okay. I just think that i deserve some type of discount for a future purchase as i am now forced to wait weeks for my refund!! I will most likely continue to purchase ths product especially at retailers where i can look at it first.
Snug and Warm
Though this fleece isn't very thick it is by no means too thin. You can layer if you need to but I doubt you will, this jacket packs a lot of punch in the warmth department without adding a lot of bulk. Got it to wear underneith a rain jacket and ended up just ditching the rain jacket and using this and a beanie for my weather protection, as much rain as we get this jacket has kept me well protected. A note on the size: I normally buy a large-XL jacket and after reading reviews and trying on other XL jackets from Columbia that I could barely get to zip, I bought a 2X and still felt it was a little too snug in the hips. If you need a little roominess in the hips or chest area BE SURE you size up.
Plus-size Sizing - not quite it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish that manufacturers would realize that plus-size does not only equate making the product wider. Sizing, it fits comfortably, but its short, shorter than I would have liked it. If I raise my arms, my stomach is exposed as it lifts all the way up with you. I feel like I'm constantly pulling it down and adjusting it. It fits true to size and is well-made, but I wasn't looking for a crop top. The moment I held it up after it was delivered, I knew it was going to fit strangely. If you're going to offer plus-size, look into it more and adjust length, not just width. I also paid for priority shipping, and received this weeks later than the other 2 items in my order. Disappointing to lay the least.

Very comfortable
I just received this jacket in the bark color...have been looking all over for a brown jacket. I am very pleased with this purchase...I love the color, it is very comfortable and I like the design of the jacket. It looks dressier than my other fleece Columbia jackets because of the cut/design. The only thing I would say is I read the reviews before deciding on a size and I disagree with ordering a size up from your regular size. I did just that and the jacket I received is about 1 size too big. I would've been perfectly fine with my regular size which is a 1X. I am going to wash and dry it and hope it shrinks a little. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase and would consider purchasing another one.
