Comfy and warm!
I received this jacket as a gift. I live in the Bay Area, CA and this will be perfect for the mild coastal winters (at least to me, sub 60°F is considered cold! LOL). I will also be using it to travel to the Pacific Northwest, and I'm sure I'll stay warm and dry! I love the removable fleece. It stays attached via zippers in the front, and 3 clasps in the cuffs and collar, which all stay hidden for a nice sleek look. I didn't find it necessary to attach to wear both, but if I were to be taking it on and off frequently, it would be great. There is a cinchable hip feature, as well as adjustable cuffs and hoodie. Zippered pockets on both the outer shell and fleece. The texture of the outer shell is great, and doesn't make a super loud whooshing sound when you move in it, ya know? My sizing info: Size 18 Height: 5'7" Weight: 250lbs Hips: 50 Waist: 40 Bust: 47 I ordered a 2x (and normally wear a 2x in everything) and it fits perfectly. The sleeves are very slightly too long for me, but the adjustable cuffs make it a nonissue. I am tall, so for someone more petite it might be a problem.
SO WARM!
So warm! I’ve only been able to use the inside fleecy jacket because it hasn’t been that cold but I love it!! I get compliments on it all the time, and I feel like I’m wearing a blanket! The insulation on the water resistant outer core is really cool and innovative! Can’t wait to wear it on my next trip post pandemic.
Looking to add a 2nd coat to my collection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe this is the style of coat I bought 2 years ago. I'm a professional dog walker/pet sitter in the northeast and this coat has been a lifesaver! It keeps me warm and dry in rain, snow, sleet & wind. The outer shell is a great repellent and doesn't stain (at least you don't see it on the black fabric). With big, jumpy and wet dogs it gets very dirty (but washes up well, I take the inner fleece out to wash and then wash them together) but I'm looking to add another one to the rotation so I have one when the other is being laundered. If you spend any amount of time outdoor in the elements you really can't go wrong with this coat!
Don’t know what I did before this jacket!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea the quality I was getting when I bought this jacket! It keeps me so warm, a warmth I never thought I could get with a jacket! I had a large parka a had bought at Target last winter and it was good enough but after buying this jacket I realized that I was not nearly as warm in my parka as I was in this jacket. I use it all three ways, I wear the jacket and the insert together most of the time but on the days it isn’t “as cold” I can wear the outer piece by itself and be great plus the insert is a soft zip up jacket I wear all the time. I will not be needed another jacket for the colder weather for a long time!
Excellent coat for Denver hiking at 12° F with 8" of snow!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had Marie Kondo'ed my old winter coat that I used for soccer games etc. and then I realized a few days before we were leaving to hike in Denver that I now didn't have a winter coat for hiking! This coat fit the bill perfectly and kept me warm and toasty during the high winds/low temperatures with circulating snow! The only downside for me was the liner "grabbed" all my shirts/sweaters/tops when I was putting it on because of the fleece inner liner BUT once I had the coat on and adjusted, I was very pleased! I typically wear an XL but ordered a 2X knowing I would be wearing a minimum of 2 layers under it. There was plenty of room and I was glad for the extra room!
Light shell with a fleece jacket
The fit was good and I liked that the sleeves were long; I am 5'10" 155 lbs and this jacket fit well at a large.That being said, I did return this jacket. It felt like you couldn't layer well because the fleece 'sticks' to the sleeves of other clothing. I had on a cotton long-sleeve T and it was very difficult to get the arms through. The shell of the jacket is very thin and only has a small area of the reflective material that was supposed to make this warmer. I wish they would show a picture of those pieces separate in the photos. I feel like a light fall jacket to wear with all my other fleece jackets would be a better buy than this. I guess I am not a fan of 3-in-1s.
Love my new coat!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my new Bugaboo coat today and I love it. It is even nicer than the picture. The color is absolutely beautiful. I got the red and wine color. It is so pretty. I love that it has the coat inside of the coat. That is one of the main reasons I ordered this particular coat so that I can remove the inner jacket when it is not as cold. I can’t wait ito wear my new coat. I ordered the 1x so that it would allow me to wear a sweatshirt or thick sweater underneath the coat. I normally wear an XL in all my shirts and Jackets. The 1x gave me a little extra room in the coat. Thanks Columbia for a beautiful coat.
Great jacket BUT
It’s an amazing jacket BUT I am very upset that I didn’t return it to size down to extra small winter is definitely here in Michigan and I did not want to wait another couple of weeks to exchange I was kinda nervous reading comments saying they ran large but on the website it said if you usually wear small it’ll fit. I DEFINITELY could’ve got away with the extra small and I never buy extra small but the coat looks alright on me it is pretty long on the belly and torso area but it does keep me nice and warm through the winds. Just upset I didnt think it would run a little on the larger side ☹️ Still a great coat for winter though. Also I am 5’1 and weight between 110-115 pounds.
This jacket is ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3-in-1 jacket is ok. It’s a little bit tricky to wear with both layers as the fleece is a bit bulky and requires some readjusting for comfort. There are no inside pockets on either layer. While the Velcro is of good quality, it does still grab onto my scarf at times. Fortunately we haven’t been very cold where I live quite yet. The outer shell is of a nice quality as it is water proof, wind proof, and insulated. I trust that it will hold up well for a few years. I got it on sale, but still don’t think I would pay what I paid for this product a second time due to bulky fleece and limited pockets.
Warm coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically freeze all the time when I got this coat it was a high of 10 degrees outside when normally I get goosebumps even in my winter coat not once so far have I in this coat it keeps me warm and I don’t freeze in it at all when this coats get old or broken I will buy a new one right away the only thing I didn’t like is the color was a little off from pictures on line but not that bad
