Incredibly Good BaG For Backcountry Skiing

This pack has every detail thought out. Zippers, storage placement, ski pack, google storage, avalanche gear, helmet storage, clip design and more. The more I use the bag, the more i'm impressed with how well thought out every detail was. This bag is perfect for backcountry skiing or taking on long day hikes with camera gear. I run an outdoors website, and we have written a full review on the bag on our website hikingandfishing.com

Excellent Pack for Snowshoeing Too!

I traveled to my local REI in order to find a winter pack that can carry my snowshoes too. I was happy to find the Kamber 20 and Kamber 30 models would fit my 30x9 snowshoes using the external straps, as well as room for my trekking poles on the sides. The 30L size is perfect for carrying some snacks, extra layers, and some emergency equipment. Liked mine so much, I grabbed a Kresta 20 for the wife and her 25x8 snowshoes.

Great New Ski Bag

I got this as a replacement for my previous ski backpack. Although I'm a woman, and this is a men's pack, I found that the straps are super adjustable and it can fit me just fine (I'm 5' 5", small frame). (Yes, I know there's a women's version... it just wasn't in the store and I didn't want to order). I love all of the zippered pouches in this bag. There's a large main compartment in the back for your water. In front of that, another main compartment with sections for shovel and probe. There's enough space to carry extra layers here too. There are some pouches on the top as well, great for carrying goggles, food, hand warmers, etc. Overall I absolutely love this bag!

For ski season, this is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For ski season, this is an outstanding pack. First, on travel to the mountains, I was able to attach this to my Farpoint 55 which is helpful since I was planning on packing it in my ski bag, which would’ve been a tight fit. At the mountain, it’s a comfortable bag. It’s so quick and easy to attack your skis to the sides of the pack to give you hands free commute up certain ridge lines or even to and from lodging. Extremely helpful if you have a 5 year old kid who doesn’t carry any of his gear. The rescue pocket easily stores your rescue/med gear for quick access. The goggle safe pocket is a great touch. Accessing the main compartment via the back panel vs the top is also well thought out especially when touring. Just laid my bag on the skis and no issues with snow breaking the threshold or the bag falling over when your in this uncomfortable stress positions. I’m gonna try the osprey camel bag next time, tried to use one I typically use for hiking but it wasn’t sized quite right and kept kinking the line. I wish there were one or two gear loops and maybe a vertical ratch strap for a rope. I’ll play with that more next year. It is also a very durable feeling pack. I’ll most likely do a video next year as I have more things to add.

Used it once. Carries load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it once. Carries load good. Haven’t ever use rear loading pack was skeptical but after one use I like it. Haven’t use water reservoir hose sleeve in cold weather. Hike started in low 20’s rising to upper 40’s no problem with freezing water hose we’ll see if it works in below freezing temps. The zipper pockets are big enough to be functional BC skiing.

This is a great pack!

This is a great pack! The separate compartment for rescue gear is identified with red zipper pull and buckle- nice for quick access. Features like helmet carry, goggle/glasses storage, and back panel access for clothing are well thought-out.

Great Ski Pack

Well made ski pack fits like a glove. It took -10 temps in Montana without a hitch. I’m a tall skier, the XL is the size I’m using. Recommended!
