Does This Battery Ever Die
I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. This little thing sure packs a "punch" (pun intended)! This is my 1st experience with a percussion massager and I can't believe what I've been missing. My recovery and soreness after workouts (3-4 times a week) have been drastically reduced. I've handed out to friends who have used it to relieve soreness from home flooring and painting projects as well. It was so effective that they literally keep offering to rent it from me until the project is finished. Swapping the different heads out is a breeze. Operation is super quite on all 3 speeds with the QuietGlide technology. The battery takes a while to charge fully but its impressive on how long it last. Using it everyday for the past week and still hasn't needed a recharge yet. Great product and I highly recommend!
Got two defective massagers
I really wanted to like this massager - I tried out a friend's and it worked great and was so quiet. However, the one I ordered made a loud whiny sound, which I think was due to a defect in where the attachments join the opening. It looked misaligned and would rattle instead of fitting smoothly. We ordered a replacement, but the same thing happened with the same visible misalignment. I don't know if it's a defective batch or what (didn't notice these issues with my friend's version, which had been purchased only 2 months before), but it's too expensive to overlook. Unfortunately had to return both.
If you're used to the standard Hypervolt, lower yo
If you're used to the standard Hypervolt, lower your expectations, a lot. We'll move past the fact that it only comes with 2 attachments. The motor is very weak, and regularly slows down to a near halt until I ease off on the pressure. The power button doubles as the intensity button, which is fine, but it's covered by a firm rubber cover which makes depressing it for two seconds to turn the unit on quite an exercise in thumb strength. I with the Go and the Hypervolt hissed the same adapter, as now I have yet another generic looking circular tip to try and keep track of. The the positive things the Go had over the Hypervolt are its size, weight, and more ergonomic handle.
Packs a Powerful Punch
I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. Allow me to set the stage that I'm a skeptic about "novel" technologies advertised to active adults. As a long-distance runner with a daily running streak in excess of 850 days, I'm one who would benefit from regular foam rolling and other massage options, but am not good at the routine. I was hesitant to invest in a massage gun that would suffer the same disuse. The Hypervolt Go has been a game-changer in addressing the physical tolls of marathon training and high-volume training. I picked up the Hypervolt Go on the way home from a long run. Unpacking and set up relatively straightforward. I had hoped for a few more massage head types in the box, but the flathead has been sufficient for my needs. (The international adapters were a welcome bonus when the world is right again for travel.) I was able to charge the device and work on my right leg before the dog insisted on a walk. The difference was astounding, with my left leg showing the perils of a long run, while my right leg was much more limber and capable. The Hypervolt Go has 3 levels of intensity. I have not mustered the courage to advance beyond the vigor of the first level. The entry-level power is generally on the higher end of the other massager I tried. I have only tried it on my legs and cannot speak to its function on other parts of the body. My calves are my most commonly impacted areas of stress, so I need to ease my way into the pressure, but it has worked wonders to relax my common ailments. It has been unexpectedly useful in managing hip flexor strain from repeated running in the snow and ice that we've been experiencing. As well, the pounding my feet have taken to use my trail shoes for long runs have been mitigated by frequent use of the Hypertvolt Go. As one who resisted the craze to spend a chunk of money on a recovery device I was uncertain I'd use, this has been an invaluable addition to maintaining my running streak and supporting my marathon training.
Good size and force but…
I bought this model because I travel a lot and needed to bring it in my carry on. Although they are supposed to be quiet they can be rather loud. I had to exchange it 3 times before I got one that was acceptable. A friend got one the same day as I did and his you can barely hear it on the third mode, so that’s how I knew something was wrong. Anyways, just look out for that because otherwise it’s a great a product.
First percussion massager
I was very excited to receive the Hyperice Hypervolt GO handheld percussion massage device in the mail! The device was easy to assemble, and just required selecting one of two interchangeable head attachments to use. I charged it for a few hours and did a workout before using the device, and I'm so happy to have it! This is my first experience with a percussion massager. It has some volume to it, but I would definitely not call it loud. For the vibrations it creates, it's pretty quiet. There's 3 massage speeds but the first one (slowest) works well enough for me. The two different head attachments can be interchanged for larger or smaller muscles on your body. I only need to charge it about once a week with daily use. I like that the device is large enough for easy control and powerful percussion massage, but small and quiet enough that it can be taken on the go. The devise is actually TSA approved as a carry-on! I haven't used the Hyperice app with the device, but that's another option as well. I'm enjoying upping my post-workout recovery routine to prevent sore muscles, and love using the Hypervolt GO!
POWERFUL
The Hypervolt Go is a great deep tissue massage, amazing that such a small device can pack so much punch! I only need to use it on the low setting to get great relief from cramping, sore muscles, although it has 3 settings to take it up a notch for deeper percussion . it helps me improve my range of motion and flexibility, I use it in the morning on my back and after a shower it's great to use to take out any kinks left over from the day. The compact size lets me take it wherever I need too and it's so quite and small you can use it practically anywhere . So far the battery life has been great and I Love it being cordless. I have Fibro and get sore joints and muscles on a regular basis, after using the Hypervolt GO for a few weeks I think it has definitely helped over all with my muscle soreness on my legs, back. and shoulders. It comes with two different attachments depending on what type of muscle you are looking to target, they are very simple to exchange . The device is simple to use and very quite. I highly recommend this product! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
Amazing!
I had been wanting to add a percussion massager my recovery regimen for a while. All I can say is this device exceeded all my expectations. I find the best use is a couple of hours after a workout when muscle soreness is starting to set in. The three speeds and two interchangeable heads make the hypervolt go customizable to different muscle groups and thicknesses. The motor is almost silent. Battery life is excellent. I shared it with my wife and her comment was " Why would you ever turn this off before the battery dies?". Neither of us has been able to run the battery out yet. I haven't used any other percussion massagers to compare it to, but this one is so good that I don't really need to. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
Great size, great power!
We are so pleased with this small but mighty machine. The battery seems to last forever, and we use it a lot. It is particularly great for knots under the shoulder blades.
Perfect for my Gym Bag
The Hypervolt GO is now a staple in my gym bag. It's small and compact so it fits perfectly with the rest of my gear. I love using this to work out any tight spots before getting ready for the workout and also for those 'rest days' when everything hurts lol
