Disappointingly Bland
Serving size was good. It could do as a standalone in a pinch, but it's just about right to have with a pb tortilla or a protein bar along side. I've always eyeballed the water in these type of meals, so my measure isn't super accurate, but I definitely was under the directed amount and it came out fine consistency wise with just a little liquid, not soupy. The flavor department was severely lacking. It wasn't bad by any stretch, it was just incredibly bland. I stirred pretty thoroughly before letting it sit, and didn't come across any "flavor bombs" so I was disappointed by the lack of flavor. Ultimately, if you handed me one, I'd eat it without a second thought, but I wouldn't actively pick it myself.
Dinner
Texture was good, excellent flavor
Not up to expectations
The curry flavor and smell is awesome. Just something about this was off. Small amount of ramen noodles was also disappointing. I can’t do this one
No spice?
I honestly dont think any of the spices listed on the label were in there. This was just bland mush. I cut up some pieces off of a beef stick, and threw those in, plus some salt and a packet of crushed red pepper. That made it somewhat more palatable. To me, the term “curry” denotes a rich, flavorful sauce. I’m guessing maybe they forgot to put in the spices? I don’t know, but this made a pretty awful meal.
Just buy cup a noodle.
All this is, is a very expensive cup a noodle with less flavor.
Bland
It cooked up ok, but it’s just bland. I’m not sure what it needs, but it needs something. If I get it again I would probably add some freeze dried chicken and peas to it, and maybe some hot mustard.
A lack of flavor was not what I expected!!
Cooked these noodles for lunch in my JetBoil on a cold day. The packet contains a very small amount of noodles and a lot of spices mixed together in the pouch. The smell was immediately off when I dumped in the water, and the resulting curry smelled stale and lacked flavor. It DID have some heat, but not enough to hide the other issues.
Amazing Curry
I found this Curry Ramen noodles to be delicious and it was just the right serving size. I typically cook a protein and add to the pouch the last couple of minutes. It's one of my favorite lunch time meals!
Not Curry enough
The curry flavor was lacking and it was a glorified ramen noodle. Overall the taste was okay, but for the price and potential it was a disappointment. Good news, when you are hungry you do not care.
Trailtopia Curry.
Not my favorite. Prepared as directed, but product still remained watery with very little taste. Serving about the right size.
