Today was my first day out with the Recon Mitts. The day started started at 17F and ended at 25F. On the hill for 5 hours today and never got a hint of cold. These are my new go to ski mittens. Great padding on the back of the hand and really well built. The size was right on, I wear a large in all other gloves and mittens and the large was right on with these. My only complaint is that they didn’t come with a wrist leash. There are loops to attach one, but I had to take a set off of an glove. That’s the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. I can’t wait to get back out with these.

Decent gloves, but sizing provided during ordering is not accurate - I ordered medium per my measurements, but too small for my hands. I will be returning. I also assumed the "BD.dry™ waterproof inserts" were removable, but it seems they are inside the mitten and not removable.
Love these mitts! I'd been using the warmest rated gloves I could find and my fingers were still freezing. I just tried these mitts out on a -6 degree day and my fingers were so warm! Stoked on this purchase.
