Our everything blanket
Received this a few years ago and now I can’t live without it. It’s a picnic blanket, a beach blanket, a cover for stuff in the car because our dog gets motion sick, a travel black out curtain for our kids, and even has become a Christmas tree skirt because why not. It’s on every packing list for any event or travel. Years of regular use and it still looks good as new.

terrible
Used it twice in damp ground and it wet through in a matter in minutes. This is only good on dry sand. It’s over priced ans mostly useless in the northeast or on grass.

kind of perfect

This I exactly what I’d been looking for. Soft on top, won’t make me sweaty in the hot summer sun, protection from damp grass on the bottom, corners don’t need to be staked down, nice timeless pattern, folds down enough to fit into my small backpack, small enough for me to use by myself and not feel ridiculous but also big enough to share with other people. It is a pretty penny and I almost didn’t buy it because of that. Ultimately I’m glad I bought this one because the quality is really solid and it’s exactly what I’d been looking for. Glad I went this route rather than picking up something less ideal for half the price. I have a feeling this blanket will last a long time.

Excellent quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first saw nomadix products in a marine store. I followed up by going online and looking at the website to see all of the products. I ended up buying the festival blanket for someone as a gift. I have not given the gift yet, but the quality appears to be off the charts, just like the towels I originally saw in the marine store. The surface of the blanket is very soft. The underneath feels exactly like what one would expect for waterproof. And fortunately the whole blanket is thin enough to pack easily (which is good because the gift is going to someone who is in a different country and I’m visiting them by plane so it’s being packed into my single carry-on bag for a weeklong trip!)

Essential for Festivals

We bought this blanket specifically for use at festivals. It is an absolute must have for every music festival moving forward! The underside is sturdy and water resistant (it wasn't raining, so not sure how it would hold up under soaking conditions) while the top is soft fabric. We fit 6 people on it criss-cross-apple-sauce. Perfect to lay on the grass and sit on if you want to avoid getting dirty, and perfectly compact to fit in a small backpack. An absolute MUST for a regular group festival goer!

Great blanket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered to have a compact blanket I could throw in a bike bag or pack for camping and it folds VERY small for the size blanket. Works great and definitely water resistant, I left outside in the grass and the top was still dry after the morning dew. Dries super quick. They only thing I would say maybe negative is it’s not a thick blanket so not padded like a quilted blanket and it’s a little heavier than a big puffy blanket but I say it’s functionality and quality surpasses any “ down side” which really isn’t. If you have bought their other products and loved them you will love this.

Excellent quality, will buy more. Great gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blanket as a gift and have not yet given it. I first saw nomadix in a marine store, then went home online and found the website to see what all of the products are. I ended up buying this festival blanket. The surface is incredibly soft, almost uncanny. The underneath is exactly what you would expect for some thing waterproof. But the great thing is that it is relatively thin, which will make it easy for travel. That is a particularly good thing as this gift is going to someone who lives in a different country and I am visiting her and putting this in my single carry-on roller bag, which contains everything I need for a week!

Great carry-along blanket for beaches & trails

This is a great outdoor blanket for 1-3 people, the cloth is soft but durable, it's a two layer blanket with no extra fluff or padding. This is great for backpacking or any other carry situation, such as trails and beaches. The blanket has good coverage but most importantly it folds up into a small dense bundle, perfect for backpacks.

Nice Blanket for Fesitvals and Outdoor Activity

Blanket worked very well for the festival we purchased it for. Only suggestion is it come with a bag or ability to fold into itself for travel with a handle or something. Other than that it was comfy and durable.

Always get compliments

I love this blanket, one of my best purchases from REI honestly. I live in SoCal and it is the best for beaches and picnics in the park -- the fabric has a nice comfortable suede feel but works well for the warm weather we have. The bottom of the blanket doesn't pick up sand so it is not too messy to fold back up and put back in my backpack. And it's quite spacious. Friends are always asking me where I got it.

better than a blanket

I got this one sale for around $50 and I love it so far, it is easy to clean sand, dirt, or any substance that gets on it. Its really compact-able and lightweight, and durable. Its kinda pricy but you pay for what you get, a solid blanket that will last me a while.
