Nice, but not a good fit
I wish these worked for me because they feel mostly comfortable but are too tight across the instep. I don't have wide or high-arch feet, and usually just loosening laces works fine, but the waterproof membrane is sewn in these shoes and has very little give. After wearing around the house for 30 minutes the tops of my feet were screaming "let us out!" Disappointing because that part of the shoe could have been a half inch looser and it would have made them more comfortable while affecting nothing else.
Excellent hiking shoes
finally found a low supportive hiking shoe with sole and forefoot protection. Hiked in dry rocky and wet snow and icy trails. great cushioning and volume inside the shoe allows for custom orthotics and foot swelling during 12 hours on the trail - so important !
feels good higher off the ground than Arrowood sty
I always buy size 11 in Teva. The Ridgeview fit the same. I have loved my Teva Arrowood (6 pair) but as it has been discontinued the Ridgeview was my next choice. The higher-from-the-ground sole means that my naturally inward turning foot is more likely to turn over but generally this shoe is comfortable I have worn it for about a year now walking every morning in dew covered gras and slightly muddy easy trails. They are no longer waterproof but I expect that over time. The shoe still feels like new I will probably order another pair.
Great looking, comfort but sizing a question
I’m usually a 10 in Teva shoes like this. Super comfortable with cushion but they seem to run large so I have to use inserts and tie them tightly. Not sure if sizing down would be a better fit; may depend on socks a bit too. Somewhat disappointed.
Feels like ap right on the ball of the foot
I liked the shoe, nice quality and looks good. But 6.5 did not fit my foot shape. The length was good but tight across the widest part of the foot.
Comfort on the move
This is a great shoe for sore old lady feet that love to hike, providing support and cushion with a forgiving width for those, ahem, wide big toes!
