Sizing Notes
CHEST: Measure at the widest point. If the person is muscular, take a second measurement at the armpit area, across the upper chest. Use the larger of the two measurements.
HIP: Place the tape around the hips and across the widest point of the buttocks. Make sure that all pockets are empty.
INSEAM: This is also referred to as the “crotch to ankle bone” measurement. Have the person stand with legs straight and feet about 12” apart. Measure from the crotch area, snug up against the body, down to the ankle bone.
SLEEVE LENGTH: Hold arm directly out to the side, parallel to the floor, palm down. Bend the elbow forward, stop hand in front of nose. Place the tape at the base of the neck, starting at the spine. Run tape along the arm, turn at the elbow, measuring to the wrist bone.
WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.

withstood a winter Grand Canyon trip
I bought this dry suit for a 30-day Grand Canyon trip in December. I stretched the neck and wrist gaskets on pans and glasses ahead of time and sprayed the zippers with Armorall. I never could get the top zipper to run by myself to fasten it. Luckily, I could get the drop-bottom one to open and close by myself. The suit had enough space in it that I could get a couple of layers of fleece on under it. (I bought a large, I am 5'8" and 170 lb). I probably wore it for about 220 miles. It developed no problems with the gaskets and no holes anywhere. I didn't get to swim in it but I certainly got soaked in many rapids but never felt cold.
Kokatat makes beautiful dry suits
The size small is very slim through the hips and calves. I’m short 5’1” and usually wear a size 6-8 in pants this was too small. Great if you have a petite slender build. If you have even a bit of curve consider the next size up. Beautiful product but thought would leave room to get into the dry suit alas I could not… perhaps the medium?
Extremely snug neck gasket
Two issues with this product: Neck gasket was so tight that I couldn't swallow with it on, and although the zippers require waxing to work, neither wax nor guidance was provided.
