Comfy for wide feet
I searched endlessly for a comfortable shoe I could wear to work and walk home in at the end of the day. I live in a big city and much of my commute involves walking, so I needed something that would be comfortable and office appropriate. My bunions, low arches, and wide feet made finding the right shoe really difficult, but this shoe is perfect. I typically wear a 7 and ordered a 37 according to the size chart but exchanged for a 36 which is a perfect fit. Definitely size down! I love having a close-toed shoe that doesn't pinch my toes, and the soft leather doesn't irritate my skin. I recommend this shoe to anyone dealing with the issues I described.
Very comfortable and cute closed toe sandal
Honestly I could not decide if these looked too frumpy/unfashionable online, but I have been looking hard for some spring/summer closed toe sandals that were actually comfortable so I tried them. They are much cuter in person! They seem to go with all my casual clothes too. Slim, wide leg, baggy pants, dresses, skirts, etc. The wide toe box is super comfortable but not clunky or duck looking at all. I would definitely get these again in another color. I do wish they had a real buckle closure instead of the velcro, but that would be my only complaint. I am usually a 7.5, ordered these in a 37 and they fit me well.
The Perfect Shoe
I’m on my feet all day at work. I was looking for a shoe that felt like a running shoe with a wide toe box (like altra lone peaks) but didn’t look like a running shoe. These are PERFECT. Light weight, comfortable/wide toe box size, zero drop feel, closed toe (required for my job). The shoe feels quite a bit looser than typical shoes because of the wide toe box but with the ankle strap they feel secure on my foot (I was worried about classic dansko clogs slipping off because I have to wear little shoe covers at work). My feet used to be so sore at the end of the day after being shoved into boots or sneakers, but I don’t have that problem anymore after switching to these. Feels like if Birkenstock and Altra made a mash up these would be it. love love love.
Light and stylish!
I have been buying and wearing Dansko shoes and clogs for decades. Now a senior, however, I find the Dansko a bit too heavy for me. I still wear them, but not for more than half a day and never in the evening. These Rowan, however, work beautifully for me! As the sole is partially cork, it is lighter weight ... plus they look like a pair of “nice” shoes I could wear out to dinner!
Comfy yet Stylish
These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I have worn them multiple times and for a good duration of walking. They have remained a shoe I want to put on. I have gotten compliments on them, too. The strap stays closed around my foot yet is easy to remove. The top portion of the shoe is comfy and doesn't dig in like some sandals will do. I am delighted to have these a part of my shoe wardrobe. I highly recommend them.
Just plain cute!
These are PERFECT. They are light weight, comfortable and just plain cute! I have tried on the Dansko Shoes before but this is my first time buying a pair. I love the wide toe box and the taupe color it a nice shoe for all seasons. I'm thinking about ordering them in the black too!
Cute & Comfotable
Very cute casual and lightweight /perfect for casual travel when I want to kick off my hiking boots. I accidentally ordered the chocolate color and debated for 2 days on whether to exchange bur ended up keeping them because they were do attractive on that color.
The best closed-toe sandal
I own a pair of Dansko Rowan shoes in the taupe and I've been looking for a casual navy closed-toe sandal and these fit the bill. Because of arthritic feet, I can't walk for hours in these shoes but they are great for short outings.
Walking for miles will be no problem.
Just tried them on. Excellent fit. So comfy . They are for my high school reunion. Just the perfect match of foot support and style. Can walk to all the events.
Wide feet? Buy this
1. I have Fred Flintstone feet (I don't have to buy wide shoes but not every shoe fits my width). 2. I dislike wearing socks. If you have feet like mine, BUY THIS SHOE. I wore it without socks and walked all day with no issues. I think if you have a narrow foot, this show will swim on your foot.
