OK but could be a lot better with data
This is a narrative style book of the TRT and its individual segments that you might read before segment or thru-hiking the trail but most likely won't bring with you. It's solidly mediocre because there isn't a lot of data but it's the best I've found for the TRT. Compare this to the Colorado Trail Guidebook or Databook and you'll see what I mean. Those two are light years ahead of this and show what this could be. Those make it significantly easier to plan (whatever that looks like before you break those plans) than this. With this book I have to wade through a lot of text that doesn't really matter to me to pull out a scant amount of numbers.
