ALPS Mountaineering  Adventure Chair

The quality of these chairs was poor. The stitching of the seam along the edges of the seat wandered off of the seam and into the seating area. The X which re-enforces the seating area was noticeable and it felt like I was seated on straps, instead of a chair. REI made the return process easy.

Purchased this chair for an outdoor bluegrass festival. Fit all the criteria...high enough to get up and down easily (I am 73), no arms so you can play an instrument and folds up and fits into a carry bag. Lightweight, yet sturdy and the mesh breathes in hot weather!

It’s so nice to see a very well constructed item these days….this chair certainly is….rugged, comfortable,easy to pack. The material dried off quickly when left out in the rain with a towel

Quality product, great for jammers needing an armless chair. Very comfortable unless you're obese in which case the front grommets might poke. High enough to help exit entry. Too bad back model not offered by REI

I had an old fabric chair for many years. It was falling apart and I needed another one. It is very difficult to find a simple lightweight small chair. Glad REI had this and it was on sale. I wasn’t expecting it to be made of plastic…not necessarily a bad thing but worth noting. It is very lightweight and blows over with light winds.

I was looking for a smaller, folding chairs with no arms to take when I go canoe camping. This chair seems to fit that bill. Lightweight, well made and comfortable.

Relatively easy to transport, easy to setup, and very comfortable in seat! the back is okay, I would love it if they made one into a stool! It would be Perfect! This is good in the house too, I may get another one for company.

This chair is perfect as a tent chair or an extra chair to throw in in case you need one. Small and light but surprisingly strong with a 350 pound rating.

One of the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on. The seat portion of the chair is designed with a large X shaped webbing for support, that’s what you sit on. It’s terribly uncomfortable. What a waste of money.

Strong light and convenient. Weather resistant and comfortable. Inspect the screws as older versions of these chairs have come undone. Lock tight may help but these are a newer version and don’t seem to be as vulnerable to this type of problem. Great value for the price. I have one that’s 6 years old the I spent 6 hours a day 6 days a week in. Enjoy
