This bra revolutionized my running!

I tried on nearly every sports bra at REI and these were the winner. I now have 5 pairs and hope they never stop making them. When I run now I don't even think about my chest which before would give me pain because the bra was either too tight or too loose. I couldn't run very far or fast before, but I've actually started to enjoy running. It's now been a year, and the bras still seem brand new. When I got measured at Nordstrom they said I was a 34DD (vanity sizing?), but I ended up going with a 36C. So I would say try multiple bands and cup sizes before you rule this one out. And Brooks, please don't stop making this bra!

love/hate with this one

I have a love/hate relationship with this bra. It chafes me and was cutting into my back where the clasp is, but then I sized up with the band and it no longer cuts into my back, but it does still chafe. I use Glide to help with that, but it does get very wet from sweat and doesn't dry out on a 2 hour run. hence the chafing. I use the racer back clasp in back to get extra support.

Great fit. Poor quality.

I really like this bra. For someone with a small back and large breasts, it is very difficult to find a bra that is supportive without making you feel like you're suffocating. This one did the trick. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the straps have started to tear at the seems. Now, I have DEFINITELY put this bra through good use during the months that I've had it, but I've never had a bra tear like this, despite years of good use. I usually have to replace them when the elastic has stretched too much. It's a huge bummer bc the elastic is still good and it's not an inexpensive bra. Oh well. On the search for another bra yet again...

Cute but not supportive for high impact activities

I purchased this bra hoping it would be one that I could wear while training for my upcoming half marathon. It was super cute (I got it in the pink pattern since this was the only one available in my size, and actually thought the pattern was super fun). Unfortunately, while the bra is cute, it didn't provide the high impact support that I am needing for my training and doesn't do much more for me than a daily-wear bra. I will be returning for this reason since I'm looking for something that is more heavy duty. Comfort and style, and versatility of the straps was appreciated, but it's not what I needed in terms of overall support.

Very Comfortable and Convertable

I really like the ability to choose between cross-back and straight straps, and the ability to change the length of the straps. This is my first sports bra with a clasp back and that simple detail makes this the first sports bra I choose to wear. I find that clasp backs are more common on very supportive bras that I don't need. This bra fits great, is very supportive and yet extremely light and comfortable. I have worn this bra on runs and during cross training and it keeps everything tucked away. I received this bra free of charge from brooks to test out and review.

Finally an easy to get on, comfortable for more than one sport in a day chafe free bra!

A dream come true! Easy to get on and off! Love the convertible back clasp option as I’ve always needed cross-back bras for run support. I tried it out on a sweaty 4 hour ride in Hawaii, then hooked the clasp for a 40 minute run. Comfortable for the bike then held the girls well for the even sweatier run. Chafe test-90 minute sweaty run, no chafing!! It swims comfortably as well, usually I can’t wait to get a running bra off, but this was comfortable all the way home. Im a 36 C in most bras and this is the size I picked. I’m a 59 year old 10 times Ironman finisher and am looking forward to racing those long days in this bra.

Durable, comfortable and perfectly designed

It’s embarrassing how many bras I have. It’s like you keep thinking you’ve found the right one and then after actually wearing it, realize it was just hopeless optimism. Then you go through it all again with the next one. With these brooks running bras I have to say “Well Done!” They flatten and hold without a lot of padding or wires, and are comfortable once I figured out what size to get. The perfect fit for me was downsizing the cup and upsizing the band, which was an option I was glad I tried. The ones I have purchased are now part of my go-to apparel, and almost all the rest are going away. Perfect for running, horseback riding and hard work!

THANK YOU BROOKS! Finally a bra that works AND fits <3

As a person with a large bust and smaller ribcage, finding a running bra that worked and fit well without causing chafing or other negatives has been a long search. I have tried upwards of 10 different bra types and brands but not until I found this one have I been able to find something I liked. I bought one to try on a whim having previously resigned myself to stacking two bras in order to get the support necessary. After I ran in it I immediately bought more so that I would have enough to rotate without having to wear any other kind of bra. THANK YOU Brooks for making sizing for more than just the middle of the bell curve!!

Great bra!

I normally wear a 32 band DD cup, but went up a band size and down a cup size as the sizer recommended and it fits beautifully. I have asymmetric breasts with a meatier left breast and wear a cutlet on the smaller side to smooth and even things out and this bra makes me feel good about my silhouette instead of self conscious. I get good compression through the bust, and the bra doesn’t squeeze the side boob and make back fat bulges on the sides and back which I appreciate. I wear these bras for daily wear and fitness. I WISH THIS BRA CAME IN SKIN TONES! Please make some. Some of us don’t want our bras to show under light tops.

Different than other sports bras, in a good way!

I bought one of these a few years ago and it remains my favorite trail running bra. I love the bra sizing (key when you're a 32F in UK sizing), though I find the band runs a touch small. I wear the 34 DD/E, though the 34 DDD/F would probably also fit me. this bra doesn't have a super tight compressive fit, so I wouldn't call it maximum-impact, but I prefer the more minimalist style of this bra compared to some of the other sports bras made for my size. The adjustable straps and ability to convert styles helps hone in the fit too. When I bought my first bra a few years ago the band was a touch narrow in the back but the more recent ones I've purchased have a thicker band, which I appreciate!
