Awesome real mountain bike for kids
Our kids are in a mountain biking program and the 20" Cannondale Trail we'd hoped to keep using for the summer was just too small. The Cujo 24 is a major upgrade - great build, confidence-inspiring wheel/tire set, and clean shifting. Overall exactly what we were looking for. I called my local bike shop before ordering from REI, but the shop told me that they couldn't get ANY bikes, and that if REI had them, order it quick! It shipped in no time, and was here several days earlier than expected. REI does all the important parts of the build, and makes it super easy to set up out of the box. They even throw in a Park Tools allen wrench kit! Overall awesome experience and rad bike.
Green wonder
Bought this for my 8 year old grand daughter. She had outgrown her 20” bike. She loves this one. The big tires and her light weight make suspension unnecessary. The biggest improvement are the disc brakes. They actually stop the bike! The caliper brakes on all my grandkids bikes are useless and dangerous. The caliper cable attachments always get broken off in the slightest spill. I was hesitant over the green but kids love bright colors so that became a non-issue.
we love it
great bike for off road and rough asphalt roadways
Great product ruined by incompetent service staff!
The bike is nice but completely useless bike service representatives at REI Bellevue. These guys spent 20 minutes preparing the bike, we cam home and front brake calipers were completely loose and the derailleur wasn't even set up making the chain rubbing and almost felt off the cassette. Incompetent staff. Never saw this ever. Anywhere.
First mountain bike for 7 yr old
Bike was setup perfectly for my 7 yr old grandaughter. Was shifting and riding in seconds
Bad Derailleur
Derailleur broke 2 times, I spent $150 for repairs and it broke again in few days. My kid new how to use the switch and not to go fast with the switch. Feels like is made of very cheap steel and not fined tuned at all.
Great bike for my son!
Great bike. Excellent quality. My 9 yr old son finds it easy to ride and shifting works well.
Not a good bike
Bike chain keeps falling off. Other safety issues with the bike. Not safe at all or put together wrong at the store not sure. I would not buy this bike not even a year and multiple issues.
