Portable size, and firmness!

I have weekly chiropractor visits but I felt like I needed something more focused on spot treatment for recovery. Found this today and I love it! It’s firm and applies just the right amount of pressure. I immediately felt relief. Just wished there was how-to videos specifically for this roller.

Diabolical. Five stars.

This is the first review I am leaving, but this thing is worth it. The shape allows you to get places you wouldn’t normally get with a flatter roller, like pecs by placing under armpit (the peanut shape means it doesn’t press against armpit lymph nodes, which is great). Rolling the spine using this helps me get to the one tense lower back spot that I otherwise have to ask for a massage for. All without impacting the spine. It is VERY firm, so you should be prepared for this one to hurt. I would not recommend using it as a warm up roller at all, but for cooldown and recovery it is fantastic.

Great addition to the roller family!

I have rollers and massagers of all types. This one is now near the top of my list. Best uses for me are along the spine, neck, and calf/lower leg. For those who don’t like deep tissue massages or a little good pain when rolling, this probably isn’t great for you. Worth a try for the price though. Travels well too.

Too hard, not enough give

Recently purchased. Afterwards, I read the review on here where the potential customer asked if this particular roller was soft (spongy) or hard. The customer care person responded back with "It's on the firm side". They should've just said "Yes, it's extremely hard" lol. This roller might as well be made of wood. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't so dang hard. I realize it needs to be for deep tissue massage therapy (as posted), but wow...if it had a LITTLE more give than this it would feel more like a pleasant massage experience rather than a bread roller beating.

My most valuable and effective tool

I am a clinical deep tissue massage therapist and I recommend this product to all my clients (you're welcome for the business Triggerpoint). It's amazing for targeting harder-to-reach muscles like the pecs, rhomboids, and glute med. It's intense for sure but so effective and gives immediate relief. I've used this many times when my own body pain is keeping me from sleeping, and it's given me the relief to be able to sleep. Usually I will roll with a traditional roller first to warm up the muscles, then go in with this one. I've also used this on my jaw very effectively. I'm always discovering new things to do with this roller. Can't recommend it enough! I hope to make a video soon available to the public on how to use this roller because it can be tricky to manuever.

Amazing little roller!

This little roller is amazing! I picked it up to target some muscle tension and related pain in my lower to mid back, and this works great to give trigger point attention to the muscle running alongside the spine, with the little cutaway area curving in so that it does not hit the vertabrae. The roller is small enough to easily pack for travel. I'm likely going to buy a second one soon to bring back/forth to the office and take on vacations. Best therapy related purchase I've had in a long time!

Best massage roller yet

I initially bought this to foam roll my feet after long walks or runs. I’ve been using this for my whole body and it has been one of my favorite purchases to help loosen my muscles.

hard, but versatile

i got this to help with rib subluxation and/or rhomboid strain (upper back pain, mostly in the morning) and if a use like a foam roller (laying on floor) it's much too hard until later in the day when the pain has subsided. but i've found using in the bed or in a cushy chair is more tolerable. also may come in handy as a massage tool (somebody else rolling it on my back). really good quality for the price.

Exactly what we needed!

Fragmented discs and a damaged sciatic nerve have put a real focus on rolling, rolfing and mobility this past year. I wanted a step up from my 2.5" mobility balls and this totally does the trick for hips, TFL and IT, channel rolling the spine, midback/lats, and neck. Plus easier to travel with than a large roller. Steller addition to our home gym and routine!

My husband brought this home for me as I struggle with neck, shoulder, trap pain from tight muscles and low back pain. This has truly been a blessing as it gets deep to the problem areas. I can use it by myself. It has released so much tension after just one use. Amd the shape of this thing is genius!! Its designed to work anywhere. Great buy!
