Wow!! Great for travel and camping
I was a little skeptical that this bar could be as effective as a shampoo as my normal stuff, but after using in the shower it worked out really great. It also packs super well, and I’ve found it’s really easy to bring along on trips, if I just wrap it in a hand towel. I’ll be getting more!
Removes hard water build up from hair!
I have been using this shampoo bar company since before you could find these on store shelves. I was surprised to see them at our local REI and I am happy to know I can easily go in store to buy these now! These are one of the few shampoo and conditioner bars that actually clean hair despite elevated hard water levels.
Good for travel and leaving room for other liquids
Kudos to you all out there trying to reduce plastic. I have to admit I never thought about all my various product containers and waste. Glad to be educated. I bought this for a carry on only trip. It works great as others have noted, and it by eliminating shampoo and conditioner from my one-quart bag of liquid items, I now have room for other items, such as face wash, toner, and sunscreen. Wins all around. Just needs a matching storage container to be perfect.
Better than most liquid shampoos I've tried!
This bar (and its matching conditioner bar) are amazing! I have fine, wavy hair and I've found that this bar leaves my hair feeling light (not weighed-down) and clean. I've experimented with tons of different shampoos and conditioners (both drugstore and more expensive options) and I keep coming back to these bars. Highly recommend.
Economical and Environmental Winner
The shampoo and conditioner are great, light and silky feel, light clean scent. Would LOVE LOVE LOVE if Hibar came up with a custom silicone cover or travel bag.
favorite bar shampoo so far
I’ve been trying to reduce my plastic use and was having a hard time finding a good bar shampoo. This has been my favorite so far. My hair comes out clean, but not over dried. I like the conditioner as well.

First time using a shampoo bar and I really like this! Easy to use, good results. The shape is nice for use and storage too. I haven’t really noticed a strong scent.
