Solid shoes, comfortable fit
For a long time I avoided cycling shoes because I feared ‘clipping in’, and even more so clipping out. I finally convinced myself to try cycling shoes and I shopped forever to find the right pair. I am beyond impressed by these! They fit perfectly (I wear a size 8.5 in sneakers, slightly wider toe box. I got a 41 in these shoes). I use these for my road bike, even though they are mountain bike shoes. So far they don't even look worn, even though I’ve put hundreds of miles on them already. They feel well-built, very high quality. Not the most exciting color, but you really can’t go wrong with black shoes. Highly recommend.

Run extremely small
The look of these biking shoes is great. HOWEVER, they run extremely small. A size 39 in these shoes is not compatible to a size 8US. You would definitely have to size up to either a 40 or a 41. This is hard to know to do when ordering online. I wish our local store had more of a variety so that they could be tried on in person.

Runs VERY small

I so wish Shimano would follow the correct sizes for their shoes. I am a true 9.5 which is 40.5 in euro sizes. Based on the size chart for Shimano, a 42 is a 9.5, which I ordered. However, I got them today and they are way too tight. I don't even know if a 43 would fit but REI doesn't even carry that size. Very disappointed.

Good quality and comfortable

I bought the shoes to replace my old sidi mountain bike shoes before I left for a six day bike trip. They were comfortable, easy to walk in and easy to clean after riding through mud. They seem well constructed and worked well with my new pedals. The staff at REI was very helpful. They put the cleats on my shoes even though I bought the pedals at another store.

A real Winner fir a Spinner

This is my first pair of clip in shoes. I got them for indoor spinning and love the ability to get more work load with the clip in. Since I am new to all of this I want to mention that the shoe do NOT come with the cleats and need to be ordered extra. The pricing is comparable if not better than other businesses. I did go up half a size due to the reviews as well as I wear a thick sock. I am very satisfied.

runs small

I didn't get to try it out as it is too small for me. I bought the women's size 42 (my normal shoe size and I have narrow feet) but unfortunately I did not know that it is common knowledge to size up for Shimano shoes. The women's range only goes up to 42 so it looks like I will have to spring for the men's instead. Otherwise it looks like a solid, well-built cycling shoe, I wish I got to wear it!

Functional shoe

My old Shimano shoes were pinching my feet. I went up a size this time and it was a good move. I've worn these for about 4 rides (50 miles total) and I like them. I'd rate them a 5 if they had reflective markings

Sharp styling, good engineering

Sturdy shoe fits snugly so when I'm pedaling it doesn't fish around at all. I've ridden quite a few miles on them already and the best part is I completely forget about my feet/shoes and just ride.

my intro to clip-ins...

great shoe! have only rented shoes from spin studios for classes and this is my first pair of shoes for clipping into a road bike and i can't complain. no blisters or awkward rubbing. i was between 2 sizes and told by the rei staff to go with the more snug size and i'm glad i did! i felt secure on the bike. they look great too imho.

Great versatile Bike Shoe

These shoes are very comfortable on long road, gravel, indoor, or cross country mountain bike rides and great even when you need to hike-a-bike. Velcro makes for easy adjustment in the 3 positions across the foot. I've had these for about 9 months and shoes are not showing any signs of wear. Overall a great clipless shoe.
