Just bought my second pair!
EDIT: Disappointed. After eight days of skiing, these seem has torn on the inside of the right glove; right in the seam. What a drag!! This is the second pair of purchased; the first pair I had for four years, and they remained waterproof throughout. I did hand wash them annually and spray them with a Gore-Tex water repellent. I will say that the large size seems to be a bit smaller on my hands now… A tighter fit. I would definitely recommend them! Great price versus quality ratio!
Nice gloves but almost lost one on first chair!
These gloves are nice, and the thumb wiper is nice for snow/water on goggle lenses. However, the wrist leash on one of my gloves came apart where its sewn together on the first chair wearing them. I almost lost the glove, but luckily it landed on my ski, and not in the inaccessible ravine below. Terrible sewing would have cost me an integral part of my set of gloves, less than 20 minutes after putting them on the first time. Any skier or snowboarder will tell you a good glove is only as good as the leash that holds it to the rider's wrist. If you buy these, I suggest tying a knot in the leash ends to prevent the weak sewing costing you a cold hand and lost glove.
Warm and Thick
Very warm. Tested in 20*F for 30 mins and my hands never even noticed. I imagine these could handle 0*F for several hours. The only downside of warm and waterproof gloves like these is the lack of fine motor skills. I struggled tying my shoes and picking up some paper off a table. Luckily they come with a nice tight fitting inner glove that will keep you warm enough while you re-tie your shoes. The price for these gloves (even though $70 is still a lot for gloves) is way below the competition, so these are going to be very very hard to beat, IMO. Only thing I can't speak for yet is durability, but they seem like they are very well made so I have high hopes. So far, they're a 10/10.
Dry but not super warm
Hands were kept dry but not so great at keeping fingertips warm. Out on a lake for a few hours on New Years in approximately mid-20s weather, no wind and finger tips got a bit cold.
Warm and comfortable
Picked these up to replace some old Adidas gloves I had been wearing skiing. These are a huge upgrade. Being able to keep the liners on while using my phone or if I needed extra dexterity was great, my fingers never got cold. I haven't used the pockets yet. The goggle wiper came in handy when it started to mist/rain. Overall love these gloves.
Good, not great glove for the price
Good looking glove. Dexterity could be a little better. Decent warmth, though i havent had a real bitter cold day to test them. Pocket for hand warmers is a pleasant bonus. The liner gloves could be better. They don't fit as snug as I'd like and the touch screen compatibility is hit or miss. But nice features for the price.
Pretty waterproof, fit nicely
I got these to replace the same model that were a few years old and wearing out. I had needed to sew a split seam on those in their second season, and further recent seams coming apart meant it was time to retire them. Still, I like them enough to buy a new pair despite the potential that they haven't improved the durability of the newer version. Also, I noted that the cuffs are a little longer on the new version.
Dry Hands All Day
I bought these for snowblowing and needed something to keep my hands both warm and dry. Most gloves will be warm but few can stand up to the constant snow covering that snowblowing subjects them to, and stay dry. These could be a bit warmer but I can attest to them keeping my hands dry. Good gloves
Have used for two years mtbing, hiking, and more.
These and the insert gloves that come with they have held up really well over the last two years of somewhat frequent use I've put them through. They're as warm as any non-mitten glove you can find, and if it's below freezing and I'm not going to move much, putting hand warmers in the back pockets keeps my hands super toasty. Would definitely get another pair when these wear out, but based on how they're holding up I don't think that will be for many years.
Mediocre glove
I’ve had these for a couple years and they’re an ok glove when it’s not too cold and if you don’t need them to be durable. Mine have already torn at the cinch. Any temp less than 25 deg and your fingers will be cold!
