Hiking the Southwest
I took these awesome shoes to hike trails at the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Sunset Crater, and Sedona. They served me well on the easy as well as the challenging trails.
Not made well
I purchased this pair of Alpine sneakers because my friend told me that they were the most comfortable shoe she had ever purchased. They felt fine when I tried them on and walked around the house. I wore them for a 40-minute walk, and couldn't wait to get home and get them off my feet! The left sneaker was fine. The right had an area above the joint on my big toe where it rubbed and was unbearable after the 40 minutes. Of course, I can't return them because I wore them for 40 minutes.
So uncomfortable
I was so excited to try these because of the rave reviews here but unfortunately they were wrong for me. The tongue is way too stiff and digs into my ankle. When I first tried them on I noticed but then thought maybe they would break in, so I wore them for a day. Bad mistake, because now I can't return them and my ankles are bruised. Super disappointed in Merrell and this design
Uncomfortable
Usually love Merrell and have gotten some of my favorite hiking shoes from them and but I found these to be very uncomfortable. Never tried their casual shoes before but The tongue of the shoe is very firm and I found that it dug into my ankle. I didn’t feel that it would break in with regular use so I decided to return them.
LOVE this shoe!
I bought the Charcoal pair and I love them! I have foot problems from flat feet, tendinitis, etc, and needed something because the winter is coming and wanted to cover my feet. This show does not rub and has a nice toe box (toes are not squished). I plan on getting the turquoise pair.
Bought these for casual sporty wear.
I love Merrills! They're my "go to" for walking shoes. So I decided to buy these for casual wear. I like the color combo and the fit. Only thing is, I wish the cut was lower on the ankle. It would be a better look.
..exactly what I wanted...
...I've always loved Merrell shoes and this just added to my collection. Exactly what I was looking for, they feel great, very quiet stride. Will definitely be purchasing more...
Perfect replacement for my everyday sneakers
My alpine sneakers are perfect for a brisk walk in the neighborhood, a trip to the grocery, or running through the airport! Super comfy, chic, and true to size.
Most comfortable shoe
I have been wearing these for a few days and love them!!! Seriously one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. Excellent traction too.
Wear all day!!
Very comfortable to wear all day. Older feet need good support and also want to look good. You’ve got both here!! I’ve bought a 2nd pair!!
